When you first start playingPrince Of Persia: The Lost Crown, you start with a set of swords called Qays & Layla. However, as you continue the story and reach Mount Qaf, you’ll have a ton of areas with difficult enemies, and getting upgrades for these swords is necessary to defeat them.
As you progress through the story, you can also get new weapons and a ton of amulets. Each amulet does something unique, and all of them can be upgraded to get enhanced effects. These upgrades are even more important if you’re playing on higher difficulties.
How To Upgrade Weapons And Amulets
If you want to upgrade your weapons or amulets in the game,you’ll first have to reach Kaheva The Blacksmith. Once you finish the initial set of dialogues with her, she’ll appear as a vendor on your map. You can enter her shop screen by interacting with her and pressing the Buy button.
On this screen, you’ll see a button to switch to the Upgrade section on the top. Head over to this section and you can upgrade your Swords, Bow, Chakram, and all your amulets. The first upgrade only takes crystals, but thesubsequent upgrades will start taking Azure Damascus Ingotsfor weapons and Xerxes for amulets.
Where To Find Kaheva The Blacksmith
you may easily locate Kaheva The Blacksmith near The Mage vendor, except her home is a little higher to the left side. However, if you’re still in the early part of the story,this will just appear as a golden glow that you can’t enter. Once you acquire the Bow and Chakram, you can come back here to see the glow turn into a doorway.
Enter the forge and you can talk to Kaheva. You canalso start the Ancient Power Unearthed quest here.
