Returning to Losomn, this DLC unveils the story behind the One True King, providing a long-awaited meeting. Like any DLC, this one introduces fresh content, items, and of course, hidden secrets to unravel.
The Ritualist Archetype takes the spotlight as the latest addition in this DLC, boasting considerable power. However, unlocking it is not immediately apparent, much like other archetypes in the game. That’s precisely why we’ve assembled this guide; to assist you in unlocking this powerful archetype and provide a comprehensive overview of its features.

How To Unlock The Ritualist Archetype
To unlock theRitualist Archetype, like with all archetypes in the game, you’ll need tolocate the required material. Fortunately, you can find it quite early in the DLC.
Start by progressing through the DLC from the first World Stone and progress until youreach the main door marked with an exclamation mark to continue. Complete the next area, reach its end, andexit the dungeon through the door at the end.

This will bring you to a different side of the Forlorn Coast.
From the newly arrived World Stone,head down and follow the path to the left, continuing downward until youreach a checkpoint.

From this checkpoint, descend the stairs,go right, take the stairs in front, thenhead left to cross to the other side.
On the right, there’sa spot where you can drop down to a lower platform. After doing so, proceed ahead and you’ll finda wooden stick leading to a boat on the right.

Follow the boat’s path to the right by jumping from boat to boat until you reacha hole in the wall leading to a cave.
At the end of the cave, you’ll encounter two enemies; defeat them and pick up the item hanging on the wall; that’s theRagged Poppet.

With this material in hand,return to Wallace at Ward 13, and use it along withfive Lumenite Crystalsto craft theCursed Effigy.
Equip this Engramto unlock the Ritualist Archetype.
Ritualist Archetype Overview
The Ritualist outshines most archetypes byfocusing on applying status effects to enemiesfor sustained damage. Not only that, but it can alsocause the affected enemies to spread the status effect to nearby foes.
Specializing in area-of-effect damage, the Ritualist excels at handling groups of enemies. It can buff itself toincrease damage dealt by enemies affected by the status effect.

As the master of status effects, the Ritualist significantlyreduces the damage received from any status effects, offering increased durability.
Overall, it’sa powerful archetypethat pairs seamlessly with most, if not all, other archetypes in the game.

Description
Sparkfire Shotgun
A powerful Long Gun that inflicts fire damage and applies the Burning status to enemies; perfect for close-range encounters.
A versatile semi-automatic handgun renowned for its accuracy.
Ritualist Scythe
A swift melee weapon that deals substantial damage, perfect for use against enemies afflicted by status effects.
Zealot’s Overcoat
Part of the Zealot armor set: a light armor that offers decent protection and prioritizes agility.

Ritualist Archetype Skills
Similar to other archetypes in the game, the Ritualist is equipped with a set of skills and perks tailored to its expertise in handling status effects.
These includea Prime Perk, a Damage Perk, a Team Perk, a Utility Perk,anda Relic Perk. Additionally, the Ritualist providesthree distinctive combat skillsandone special trait.

Presented in the table below are the distinctive skills and perks exclusive to the Ritualist Archetype:
Vile
Negative status effects caused by the Ritualist apply Infected.
Infected: The affected enemy takes 5% more damage from status effects. Upon death, the inflicted status effects spread to nearby enemies within a 5 meter radius.
Starting skill

Eruption
Generate a 1 meter explosion dealing 50 damage to all enemies within a 15 meter range.
The explosion’s radius and damage surge by 100% for each distinct status effect on the enemy.
Skill at level 5
Miasma
Unleash an area-of-effect burst inflicting Bleeding, Burning, Overloaded, and Corroded on all enemies within a 15 meter radius, causing a cumulative base damage of 0.
Skill at level 10
Blocks all self-healing.
Drains health at a rate of 300% over 20 seconds.
Boosts all damage by 35% and provides 10% of the base damage dealt as lifesteal.
Damage Perk
Wrath
Boosts damage to enemies with a negative status effect by 2%.
Team Perk
Terrify
When an entity is eliminated, it applies Terrified in all enemies within a 5 meter radius for 20 seconds.
Reduces damage taken from negative status effects by 25%
