As you enter practice mode, you’ll notice that there’s a special music for practice that doesn’t relate to the level itself. Fortunately, this guide will help you unlock the music, so you can carry that rhythmic experience from levels to the practice mode.
What Is The Music Unlocker?
In practice mode, you can’t use the level’s music, and all you hear is a repetitive tone, the same sound you get in any level practice mode. Which might lead you to turn off the music or leave the practice mode altogether.
No need to worry, you canenable normal music in practice mode after the 2.2 update. Head to thesettings in the level practice modeby clicking on the gear icon after pausing, and you’ll come across an option called"Practice Music Sync". However, you might notice that it’s locked.
Clicking on “Practice Music Sync”, you’ll notice thatScratch mentions the need for the Music Unlockerto play normal music in practice mode. Click on Scratch’s conversation, thenclick again on the “Practice Music Sync"option. Scratch will reappear, suggestingthat the Diamond Shopkeeper might have one.
Repeating this process, the Diamond Shopkeeper will tell you to bring shiny “Diamond” to unlock the feature.
How To Get The Music Unlocker
To obtain the Music Unlocker, you need topurchase it from the Diamond Shopkeeper, and it willcost 5,000 diamonds. Here are the steps, starting from the main screen.
From themain screen, click on theicon on the rightshaped like a hammer and wrench.
Click on thepurple door located at the bottom rightof the screen, which will take you to the Treasure Room.
By clicking on the arrows,navigate to the fourth optionwhere you will find ropes, and one of them will carry a diamond icon.
As youclick on the diamond icon, the Diamond Shopkeeper will appear, informing you that you need tobring 1,000 diamonds to gain access.
Once you have accumulated 1,000 diamonds, you’ll find that you canenter the Diamond Shop. Inside, you will have the option to purchasethe Music Unlocker along with other items available for sale.
To locate the Music Unlocker, look for a musical note icon that you canpurchase for 5,000 diamonds. Click on it, and you will find the option to “Buy Item”. If you decide to proceed with the purchase,click on the green button labeled “Buy"to acquire the Music Unlocker.
How To Use The Music Unlocker
Upon purchasing the Music Unlocker, you gain access to enable “Practice Music Sync”. In practice mode,pause your level, open settingsby clicking on the gear icon, and simplycheck the box of “Practice Music Sync” to enable normal musicfor your practice mode.
