Tekken 8has one of the most interesting rosters that the series has seen in some time, with a great mixture of the classic veterans you know and love alongside some exciting newcomers that are sure to stick with the series.

Surprisingly for a fighting game in 2024, you won’t start off Tekken 8 with all 32 of its playable characters unlocked in every single mode.Instead, you’ll start with 30 and have to unlock the remaining two for use in the Character Episodes - Reina and Jun Kazama. Considering how popular those two fighters are already, you’re going to want to know how to get them as soon as possible and see what their endings are.

How To Unlock Reina And Jun Kazama

When you start Tekken 8, you’ll notice that any attempt to play as Reina and Jun Kazama in the Character Episode mode will result in a message telling you that you need to progress further in the Darkness Awakens story mode in order to unlock them. This might have you thinking that each character is made available after a certain amount of chapters, but that isn’t the case.

Both Jun and Reina will be unlocked once you complete all 15 chapters of The Darkness Awakens, whichshould take you around four hours of playtimeif you’re watching all of the cutscenes. If you’re not fussed about Tekken’s story (which you should be, it’s awesome), then you may probably cut that down to just an hour or two by only playing the matches.

From that point on,you can choose to play as either of the two characters in Tekken 8’s Character Episodes.
