Renowned for a colorful and nostalgic cast,Disney Dreamlight Valleygrants you the opportunity to connect with all of your favorite characters. With the new Expansion Pass, A Rift In Time, even more familiar faces join in the adventure. However, they’re unlike any characters we’ve seen before.
Unlike most characters, these new ones are already set up. You only need to reach them and befriend them to fully unlock them. The process can be a bit confusing, but we’ll lead you through it one step at a time. EVE is the first of the Expansion Pass characters you’ll meet in Eternity Isle.
How To Unlock EVE
Upon reaching Eternity Isle, follow Jafar’s instructions to unlock the door and you’ll naturally stumble into this quest. Once you’veopened the ancient gate, Jafar tasks you withobtaining the Royal Hourglass, which EVE is guarding in Ancient’s Landing.
Unlike unlocking other characters,EVE already has a home builton Eternity Isle. You’ll only be able tobefriend her after completing a questto relieve her from her directive:The Flying Metal Nuisance.
The Flying Metal Nuisance Quest Walkthrough
Headdown to the docks, cross the bridge, break the copper rocks, andspeak to EVE. She’s wary of you at first, so you’ll have to gain her trust.Go back to Jafarfor advice, and he’ll tell you tosearch EVE’s house.
While Jafar is a villain,your interests are aligned for the time being. You’ll have to work together for now.
Inside,destroy the piles of trash to uncover a memory. Share it with Jafar to develop the next steps of your plan.Find the place in the memoryto recover the robot costume. You’ll find itin a hidden cave behind the waterfallin Ancient’s Landing.
Once you’ve found the costume,put it on and speak to EVE. While she’s beginning to trust you, she has another request.Take the recipeshe gives you andmake the Best Fish Forevermeal.
You’ll have tocomplete Goofy’s quest, Give Me A Sign, to get Celery seedsfor the meal.
After making the meal,return to EVEand she’ll be glad to have a friend at last. You can nowclaim the Royal Hourglass and increase your friendship with EVE.
How To Unlock More Of EVE’s Quests
Once EVE is relieved of duty, you canspend time with her and give her giftsto increase her friendship. you may alsoplay the board game, Scramblecoin,with her to gain additional points per day.
The best ways toincrease friendship are to hang out and give gifts. Assigning a role allows EVE to help you as you do your duties around the valley, and you’re able to grant her therole of Timebendingto findmore rewards while bending time.
EVE’s Friendship Rewards
As your friendship grows with EVE, you’llunlock more rewardsyou can use tocustomize your avatar and your home. From motifs to furniture and clothing, there are benefits to befriending EVE.

Like other characters, the level ten reward isonly unlocked after completing EVE’s level ten quest.
