The path system inHonkai: Star Railis quite an important one, both for lore and gameplay purposes. Whenever you visit a new region in the game, the first thing you learn is the path followed by the people of that region. Moreover, every new playable character gets released with their own path too.
Apart from all of that, you’re able to also choose a specific path before embarking on your run in the Simulated Universe. However, if you want to choose the Erudition Path here, you’ll have to fulfill certain criteria.
How To Unlock The Erudition Path
The Erudition Path was first releasedalongside the Gold And Gears game mode in the Version 1.6 update, and you can use it in this game mode from the very start. However, if you want to use this path in the rest of Simulated Universe including the Worlds and Swarm Disaster, you’ll have to do quite a lot.
Gold And Gears mode has a bunch of secretsincluding various Trailblaze Secrets, Aeon Secrets, and one Final Secret. In order to get the Erudition Path, you have to unlock all these secrets by embarking on multiple runs in the Gold And Gears mode. Here’s how you can get them:
All Erudition Path Blessings
The Erudition Path features a total of 24 Blessings including itsPath Resonance, Resonance Interplay, and general blessings. Keep in mind that you’re able to only get the Resonance Interplay blessings in Swarm Disaster or Gold And Gears mode. Here’s what all of them do:
You can get up tothree blessings at the same timein the Simulated Universe, and you have to choose only one of them.
If you get three Erudition Blessings at the same time, you canuse the priority level mentionedin the table to make a choice.
Erudition

Links the highest HP enemy with others, and the next 15 attacks from any allytrigger the Synapse Resonance effect once.
When the effect is triggered, thetarget enemy and the enemy with the highest max HP take extra Ultimate DMG.
Melt Core

If any target with Synapse Resonance is attacked by an Ultimate, thetarget with the highest HP takes even more DMG.
Chain Contagion

Synapse Resonance gains two more countswhen a target with this effect is defeated.
Memetic Inversion

Every time a new enemy comes to the field, the Path Resonanceregenerates five percent of Max Energy.
Full Scan
This is a Resonance Interplay with Elation, and it lets the enemy getdamaged with Synapse Resonance an extra timewhen they’re attacked with a follow-up.
Data Reinforcement
The Interplay with Nihilityprevents your attacks from reducing the Symapse Resonance stacksif you’re attacking a Weakness Broken enemy.
BCI-34 Gray Matter
Entering the battle and breaking an enemy’s weakness charges the Brain in a Vat state.
This statelets you use an extra Ultimateif its charges are at 100 when you use your first Ultimate. This second Ultimate goes away if you use any other ability during the character’s turn.
VEP-18 Occipital Lobe
Character Ultimates enjoy a certain amount of All-Type RES PEN, which isfurther increased for the next Ultimatebased on the enemies hit.
Imitation: Transmitter Synthesis

If your character’s Energyexceeds the maximum, it charges Brain in a Vat.
Implant: Explicit Memory

Charactersgain a shieldafter using the extra Ultimate from Brain in a Vat.
Mimesis: Tactile Pathway
Characters dealextra DMG to the enemiesbased on the number of targets attacked.
Analysis: Subliminal Sensation

The Ultimate DMG isincreased for the first Ultimate in battle, and you get some extra Energy at the start.
Load: Striated Cortex

You candelay a Weakness Broken enemy’s actionup to three times when you attack them using an Ultimate.
Throne of Engaged Gears
Increases your Ultimate DMGbased on the number of Erudition Blessings you have.

Wreath of Interlaced Pipes
Characters won’t get knocked down when they lose all their HP, andinstead use their Energy to regenerate a part of HP. Can only be triggered once in each battle.
As you can see from the table above, the Erudition path is heavily skewedtoward the characters that deal most of their damage with the Ultimate. This makes the path great for Argenti, Xueyi, Jingliu, and Kafka if you build her on Crit. You can also use Ruan Mei to get the most use out of the Nihility Resonance Interplay.
