As one of the native inhabitants of the moon, it’s up to you to stop them. One way to do that is to destroy the RDA outposts that harm the environment, but it won’t be easy. You’ll have to handle things alone for the most part, which makes open confrontation tricky. A few tips and trick will have you infiltrating the most difficult base of all in no time.
How To Infiltrate Laser Ore Processor Alpha
If you fly too close to this RDA Outpost, you’re likely toreceive a warning from So’lek. Laser Ore Processor Alpha is incredibly difficult (and long, if you’re not prepared), so therecommended strength is 20.
Laser Ore Processor Alphacan be destroyed much soonerthan reaching a strength of 20, but it will bedifficult and time-consuming.
Make sure you have plenty of resources at your disposal tomake traps and ammo.
To infiltrate the RDA outpost, you’ll need tofind your way in from the ground. Make your way along the edges until youfind an openingwhere you can sneak in.
There are turrets everywhere, but you can sneak past them anduse your melee attack to open a grate(there are several). Drop through and you caninfiltrate the RDA facility.
You’ll know you’re in the right place to start when you see trucks and AMP suits by a gate.
The Cargo Trench
Once inside, you’ll need tofind a way through the checkpoint. There’s a computer you canhack for access, but you’ll need to sneak by several RDA soldiers and an AMP suit.
Make your way to the computer, then wait for your enemies to turn away. Hop down andrun across to the next open room. Stay out of sight until you reach the back of the hallway, near another vent. Rather than drop down,climb up the yellow pipingand follow it.
This will lead you to the next room, where you canclimb into the cargo trench. Here, you’ll need toaccess another computer. Stay along the ceiling before jumping down onto the top of the room,break through the vent, and eliminate the RDA soldier inside.
Be wary of the AMP suit roaming just outside. They can see you through the window.
Hack the computer, which will trigger an alert. You’ll need tosurvive the ambushby either eliminating all of your enemies or by creating a diversion andsneaking into the next roomwithout getting caught.
Climb back through the vent you came through,jump back onto the platformalong the ceiling, and cling to the wall to crawl north. There’sa walkway you’re able to use to stay out of sightand reach the next room without getting caught.
It’s best toavoid open combatsince you’re on your own, especially if you entered this outpost below the recommended rank.
Follow the corridor until youreach the gas pipeline control room. Hack the terminal to cause an explosion, thenfire at the three exposed pipeline shutoff valvesin the next room. You’ll need to be quick before the RDA soldiers find you.
Once that’s taken care of,head up the stairs to the blown-out fanon the wall. Climb through that and the adjacent vent to reach another hallway. Discreetly dispose of any RDA you run into and proceed to the slag pit.
You canpick up a rocket launcherin a case by the door to the north. You’ve only got three shots, so make them count.
The Slag Pit
The slag pit is even harder to get through. Withseveral AMP suits and soldiers on the ground, you’ll need to access the terminal that’s closed off in the adjacent room. While you cansneak below and crawl your way across, you can alsouse your position from above.
Staying up high keeps you out of sight, andyour enemies cannot climb up to where you are. You’re free to pick them off one at a time.
Using traps is also recommended, as they cantake down the high-level AMP suitsmuch faster without risking your health.
When you hack the gas control terminal, another set of enemies will emerge. Deal with them or sneak by toshoot the gas pipeline shutoff valveand take the stairs in the back down to the maintenance bay.
Watch your step as you leap over the molten depths below.
Follow the pipes to another narrow corridor where you’ll need to dispose of an unsuspecting RDA soldier. Make your way through the next room and down into the vent.
You’ll need toshut off the electricity that’s gone haywireand use your melee attack tobreak through another vent. From there, all you need to do ishack the computerto access the smelting unit with the laser itself.
The Laser Lens
Once inside the room with the laser,take your time to set trapsand get familiar with your surroundings. You’ll have time betweenwaves of enemies, but it’s easy to get overwhelmed quickly.
Your first step is to damage the laser’s lens, which will bring the first wave of soldiers and AMP suits. Your best bet is to get up high and stay out of sight unless you’ve mastered open combat.
The best places to hide areon the raised platform behind the laser(which can be difficult to reach) oratop the two chambers that the laser fires into.
Both chambers are easily climbable and can provide adequate cover if discovered.
Once you’ve damaged the lens,shoot at the front tower’s exposed shutoff valves. You’ll have more enemies to deal with, so make it quick. After that, you’ll need todamage the laser’s lensagain.
With the laser damaged even more, you canopen the left side gallery’s emergency pipeline. There arethree wheels you need to turn; do so quickly to avoid taking damage.
Start from thefurthermost wheel and move inward. This reduces the distance between you and your cover.
Certain meals can also prevent you from taking damage when the laser starts to fire at will.
With the emergency pipeline opened,shoot at the tower’s exposed shutoff valvesand damage the lens again. This time, you’ll need toopen the wheels on the right side gallery.
With the wheels turned and the pipeline open again,fire at the back tower’s exposed shutoff valves. All that’s left is todestroy the laseronce and for all. Fire directly into its eye until the whole thing collapses.

With Laser Ore Processor Alpha down, thefacility is reclaimed by Pandora. The surrounding area isfree of pollution, and you can finally access the tarsyu flower nearby.
