PlayingFinal Fantasy 14is committing to a whole other life, the digital existence of the Warrior of Light, and for many of us, our playtime spans years. During that time, you’ll likely change console, upgrade your PC, or maybe want multiple devices to play the game on, so how do you ensure you have all your config settings wherever you’re playing, including your HUD layout and hotbars?

There are a few ways to achieve this, either by using the in-launcher/game back up features or manually copying your files. We’re going to cover both ways to do this right here.

Using this method via the launcher does not allow you to transfer your settings to PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 and can only be used for PC and Mac.
