If you’re aRobloxfan, chances are you’ve heard of Pet Simulator X. Even if you’ve never played it, you’ve played a game inspired by it. Pet Simulator X is getting a sequel, Pet Simulator 99, on July 09, 2025, and it’s sure to be one of the biggest launches on the platform this year.
Avid PSX collectors, never fear - all your exclusive pets, plus the Huge and Titanic critters that you’ve amassed, can be safely transferred to Pet Simulator 99. You can even make the swap before PS99 even comes out! Here’s how.
Which Pets Can I Transfer From Pet Simulator X To Pet Simulator 99?
Not every pet in your inventory can carry over to Pet Simulator 99. The good news is that the rarest, most important pets in your collection will definitely be able to go with you to the new game. The following petscan be transferred:
you may transferup to 250 pets at a time, though you’ll have to do it in small batches based on pet type. When Pet Simulator 99 launches, you’ll be able toretrieve your transferred petsfrom the Pet Box there, then send more over from Pet Simulator X.
Pet transfers will only be available for six months, so you willnot be able to transfer pets between games from June 2024 onwards.
How Do I Transfer Pets From Pet Simulator X To Pet Simulator 99?
When you enter the world of Pet Simulator X,look for a giant portalin the Town area, where you purchase your Eggs. There will be a Pet Box next to it. Approaching the Pet Box will open a window where you canset your pets to transfer.
Pets have to beunlockedin your inventoryin order to be transferred.
Simplyselect the category of pet that you want to transfer, then place your chosen pets in the box. When you start playing Pet Simulator 99, they’ll be waiting for you in the spawn area’s Pet Box!
Can I Still Use Transferred Pets In Pet Simulator X?
Hatched pets - but not unhatched Eggs -can still be used in Pet Simulator Xeven after they’ve been transferred to PS99. However, they will bepermanently marked as Transferredwith a yellow triangle over their picture.
If someone tries to trade you a transferred pet, chances are they don’t plan on coming back to Pet Simulator X and are trying to get some extra value before leaving. Consider such trades carefully, since transferred pets exist in two games at once and may not be as valuable.
If you accept a transferred pet as part of a trade, you won’t be able to transfer it to Pet Simulator 99 yourself. This is to prevent pet duplication.
