It can be quite a hassle to gather your own resources, explore the open world, and take on bosses solo inPalworld. That’s not the intended way to play the game anyway. Pals can be captured to assist you with all these tasks, allowing you to concentrate on exploring the map and battling.
You’ve observed how your pals can work for you in your base, but the steps to make it happen might not be clear. This guide will take you through the process of keeping your pals busy and productive in your base.

Palworld is in Early Access, meaning that the details below are liable to change over the course of development.
How To Summon Pals To Your Base
Before you can summon pals to your base, you need to capture some of them. If you already have some pals captured, head back to your base andinteract with the Pal Box, which acts as your base, and then choosePal Box Management Menu.
In the next window, you’ll see all the pals you’ve captured in the middle, andbelow, there’s a separate box labeled"pal who is at the base." Depending on your platform, you want todrag pals to this bottom window to summon them to your base.
Initially, you’ll have one slot available for a pal that you can summon to your base.
As youcomplete base upgrades, you’ll gain more slotsto summon additional pals for various tasks.
Once you summon a pal to your base, it willautomatically assign itselfto tasks within its work suitability.
However, if you want them to focus on a specific task, for example mining, you need to physically pick up a pal with a mining work suitability and throw them into it—yes, we’re serious, that’s how it works.
Remember that the pals summoned to your base don’t count towards the pals in your party. Keep this in mind while managing your pals.
