How To Move A Sim Out Using The Split Household Option
The Split Household option is available in-game as youplay your currently active household; it is an option that you can accessthrough the Sim cellphone.
To use it you just need to follow these steps, while making sureyour active Sim is the one you want to move out:
Once you confirm, you willautomatically leave the current householdto decide where to move your Sim.
After choosing a lot, you willcontinue playing as that Sim instead of going backto the household you’ve just split them from.
How To Split A Household’s Funds
The option to split fundsis integrated into the screen tosplit the householditself. You will find it at the bottom, under a small heading. This screen willshow you the current household funds on the left, a bar where you’re able to input numbers in the middle, and the funds of the new household on the right.
There will bearrows on each side of the middle bar as well; you will have to click these to move funds from one household to another.
Splitting funds is as simple asinputting an amount in the middle bar, and then clicking the corresponding arrow to move thatamount of funds. Normally, you will need toclick the right-facing arrowto transfer funds from your old household to the new one.
The left-facing arrow will let you do the reverse. A few uses for this arrow are returning funds when you’ve made a mistake, or transferring funds from another existing household into your own.
How To Move A Sim Out Using The Manage Households Option
Another way you can move a Sim out of a household is through theManage Households option in the Neighborhood view. This view will give you the option to move an entire household into a different lot orselect specific Sims to move out of one household into another.
