The Talos Principle 2serves up an intriguing narrative fueled with rich world-building, where humanity has run itself into the ground, leaving behind a legacy of robots trying to find their place in the world. Before you embark on this journey, however, you’ll need to solve several tutorial puzzles during ‘Calibration’, the game’s introduction.
As you get to the red sigil door, puzzles will start including more unfamiliar elements like connectors, but don’t feel overwhelmed! If this particular puzzle’s got you stumped, we’ve got your back. Here’s how to juggle the numerous colored light receivers in the Prismatic Diffraction puzzle.
Prismatic Diffraction Puzzle Walkthrough
When you enter the Prismatic Diffraction Puzzle chamber, you’ll find a huge courtyard with several blue colored light lines—some lit up, some unpowered.
Don’t get overwhelmed, your goal here is simple: tolight up the fixed connector located on top of a pillarsurrounded by statues, to the immediate left of the puzzle entrance. While doing this, however, you also can’t let any of theother receivers become unpowered.
to achieve this, keep heading forward past an open energy wall, and locate the connector currently connected to two receivers and one generator.
Pick it up, andmove it closer towards the entrance of the puzzleso that you canlink it to the fixed connectoron the statue.
You’ll want to position it so thatnone of the connections are blocked by the walls, as you’ll need the other energy walls open as well to get to the sigil.
Right-click to pick up the connector whilemaintaining all of its current connections, which can save lots of time when juggling multiple colored lights.
If you’ve positioned everything correctly, the connectorshould be nowlinked to four colored light lines total, and the last energy wall should open for you to grab that sigil from.
