The Talos Principle 2is a captivating sequel set in a post-apocalyptic world where remnants of human culture survive in a city of sentient robots. As you traverse the game, you’ll face puzzles and dilemmas of increasing difficulty. To get there, however, you’ll need to complete Calibration—the game’s introduction—and unlock all the sigil doors.
Though the first two doors are relatively easy to unlock and meant to teach you the basics, it can get dicey when you get to the red door and things like connectors and colored light Receivers come into play. Don’t worry if you find yourself stuck! This guide will walk you through how to solve the Fundamental Connections puzzle.
The Fundamental Connections Puzzle Walkthrough
Once you enter the Fundamental Connections puzzle chamber, you’ll finda connectorlinking one generator and one receiver.
Don’t touch this connectorquite yet, you need this link keeping the Energy Wall open.
Connectors can belinked with other connectors, and/orcolored light generators and receivers.
When areceiver is linked to a generatorof a same color, it will open or unlock its respective obstruction, such as an energy wall.
Walk through the energy wall being held open by the receiver tograb the connectorinside.
Link thisconnector to the generatornear the entrance, and thenplace it near the pathwayto the left of the chamber.
After you’ve done this,grab the connectorfrom the start of the puzzle, and walk through the pathway to theback of the chamber, where you’ll find second receiver on the wall.
With this connector, link this receivertothe connectoryou placed down previously.
This willopen the energy wallnext to the Receiver, giving you access to one of the first sigils required to open the red door and complete the game’s introduction.
