Remnant 2The Awakened King DLC introduces a fresh experience, inviting you to delve into new content. Amidst the familiar Losomn setting, you’ll discover new locations, including the enigmatic Sunken Haunt. As you explore this area for the first time, you may stumble upon a strange manor.
Once you reach this manor and approach the character seated in the chair, you’ll be transported to a different location known as Ethereal Manor. Here, a puzzle awaits, and figuring out how to navigate it might seem confusing. This guide is here to assist you in solving the puzzle at Ethereal Manor.
Make sureyou’ve unlocked the Explorer Archetypeand fully leveled up to access theFortune Hunter skill, as you’ll need it to tackle this puzzle.
How To Solve The Ethereal Manor Puzzle
When you reach theEthereal Manor, you’ll seemany doors. Your goal is to find a quest item called theBloody Talisman, and you need to do thisfive times.
While doing this, you’ll encounterthe same man who was sitting in a chair.
Approaching the man resets the puzzle. You then find yourself back at the manor entrance.
Although it might seem simple, there are two things to remember:
As of the time we wrote this, we haven’t found another reliable method to predict where the quest item would be.
That’s why we recommend using the Fortune Hunter skill from the Explorer Archetype.
Begin byactivating the Fortune Hunter skill, whichhighlights the quest item in purple, making it easier to find. Once you spot the highlighted item,go to the door with the item, interact with it and then pick it up.
This action sends you back to the entrance,and you will need to repeat this process five times to complete the puzzle.
Be careful not to approach the man in the chair, as he resets the puzzle and sends you back to the entrance.
On the fifth attempt, when you go for the item, instead of getting the Bloody Talisman, you will receive theDeath-Soaked Idol, and then you’ll be transported back to the World Stone of Sunken Haunt marking the end of the Ethereal Manor Puzzle.
The Death-Soaked Idol is an amulet thatboosts all damage by 5 percentfor eachentity within 20 metersexperiencing a distinct Negative Status Effect.
