Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers have been waiting for this fateful day. The valley is full of our favorite childhood characters that we all know of, but not all of them are loved. Some of the characters, either by their game design or by their morals, are despicable to have walking around the valley.

Donald Duckis too loud,Mother Gothelis too rude, andMauiis just unsettling. Thanks to the major December update, we can now remove villagers from the valley permanently. Here is everything you need to know about removing that annoying Disney character from your game.

How To Remove Villagers From The Valley

The feature is simple. All you have to do is open your map andpress either F on keyboard, Y on Xbox, or Triangle on PlayStation. This will open up a list of all your current villagers. By selecting their portraits, you’re able to remove them from your valley.

If you have the Eternity Isles expansion pack, this feature willappear on both maps separately. You will be able to remove or add villagers to Eternity Isles separately from the Disney valley.

Once you select their portrait on either map,their portrait will become grayed out, indicating that they are removed.

Why Isn’t My Villager Disappearing?

Unfortunately, removing a villager isn’t as easy as selecting their portrait. While yes, that is all you have to do,a villager cannot be removed unless they are maxed out.

Each villager has a friendship level and personal questlines. A villager cannot be removed if there are remaining quests for them.The quest does not have to be active. So long as the quest exists and needs to be unlocked or initiated, that villager cannot be removed.

If you remove multiple villagers from the valley and never complete their personal quests, you may end up with nothing left to do in the game. The developers probably want you to experience everything before saying goodbye.

Getting that annoying villager tofriendship level ten and completing their final questwill ensure that you can remove them from the map and your game.

When you remove a villager from the valley,their house will remain where it is. Nothing will disappear but themselves.
