Like other modern Pokemon games,Pokemon Sleephas started its first special event featuring themed encounters just in time for Halloween. This whole week you’ll have a higher chance of encountering the Gastly and the Shuppet lines, as well as a chance to find a Pikachu with an adorable little witch hat!

This first event is very basic and you don’t have to go out of your way to get the minimal benefits such as boosted candies, but if you want to focus on reaping all the rewards, you’re going to have to stay on top of taking care of your Snorlax.

Snoozing

Greatly Increased

Halloween Pikachu will not appear outside this eventunless you use an Incense, soyou should save the one you get from missionsin case you don’t get one to appear normally.

Halloween Pikachu shares a Sleep Style Dex entry with regular Pikachu, but they don’t share friendship levels. Keep also in mind that it won’t be caught automatically like a shiny would, souse your Bonus Biscuit or any Master Biscuits on that if you get one.

Special Event Missions

There are also special missions available this week that give you access to incense, biscuits, and Handy Candy to further raise your Pokemon, and they are pretty simple to complete during your normal play cycle.

Get Snorlax to Ultra 1

Basic Biscuit x5

If you’ve gotten to at least a 30% boost on Greengrass Isle by sleeping there a lot, you can hit Ultra 2 very quickly. If not, prioritize Pokemon that gather your Snorlax’s favorite berries.

Get Snorlax to Master 1

Handy Candy S x5

If you’re at a 30% boost or higher you should achieve this by midweek as long as you are diligent on feeding Snorlax. If not, prioritize Pokemon that gather Snorlax’s favorite berries.

Use 100 Candies

Evolving a Pokemon will count and will take around 80 candies for first-stage evolutions. If you don’t have any ready to evolve, check any Pokemon you’ve encountered a lot and then use all the candies to level them up.

Give Out 15 Biscuits

Remember that Pokemon tend to get full after about three biscuits, so feed multiple Pokemon that show up for snack time.

Use 7 Incenses

You get one incense through these special quests and one a week from the regular quests. The cheapest incenses you can buy at the shops are three recovery incenses for 400 sleep points each and Luck Incense or Friend Incense for 150 Diamonds each. You can use multiple incenses at once so don’t worry if you don’t use one every night,

Stick To Your Bedtime 3 Times

You’re counted as sticking to your bedtime if you press the sleep button 90 minutes before your set bedtime through 30 minutes after. It doesn’t matter how long you take to fall asleep.

Cook 12 Times

You can cook three times a day: once from 12am-6am, 6am-6pm, and 6pm-12am. As long as you’re consistently doing this, you should achieve this while completing other tasks such as getting Snorlax’s rank up.
