The Heavy build gives you a surprisingly high power inThe Finals. One of the most popular builds amongst the three different builds in this game is the Heavy. As the name conveys, it is the heaviest and by far the slowest build that offers a ridiculously high health point.
The Heavy can be known as the tank class. This build can play a vital role in winning matches as they can be considered the shield for the other players to overcome objectives and opponents. The Finals has two major game modes: Cashout and Bank It. Each game mode has its characteristics and demands you to change playstyle. So, it is evident that you need different customizations within the builds.

The Heavy Class Overview
The Heavy Class, as mentioned, acts as the tank class. So, your teammates expect you to be in the frontline while they flank the opponents and initiate their run for the objective, and that is because of your high health points.
As the heavy build of the team, you are also expected to be pretty protective and run toward the objectives to prevent opponents from stealing your fortune in this intense game.

Remember, the Heavy build isthe biggest build size-wise, and you need to use it to your advantage, although it can come as a negative point. It would be best to block enemies’ shots to your Light and Medium build teammates so they can head to the objectives with a full or almost full health bar.
Another point worth mentioning is thatopponents tend to attack the Heavy Build before any other buildsbecause of their high health points, especially if they are in the open. This is considered the most negative point for this build.

So, if you are new to The Finals, it is recommended toconsider playing as the Medium or Light build before playing as the Heavy Build for your squad.
The Heavy Build Equipment
Different weapons, specializations, and gadgets can be picked no matter how high or low your level is, but to use them, you need to buy them with in-game currency known as VRS.
As you progress in the game, you will earn VRS, whether you win or lose. Your starting gun and specialization as the heavy build are the M60 machine gun, Sledgehammer, and Charge ‘N’ Slam specialization. You will also have Barricade, Flashbang, Frag Grenade, Pyro Grenade, Goo Grenade, and RPG-7 as your default gadgets.
It is recommended tounlock the Mesh Shield specialization and the Lewis Gun as your first purchases for the heavy build. The third and last specialization, the Goo Gun, is not that useful and it is recommended tounlock the SA1216 Shotgun as your third item for the heavy build.
After unlocking the mentioned items, it is best to head to the gadgets section andunlock the Dome Shield and the C4.Unlocking these two gadgets means you have all the right ingredients for explosive and defensive playstyles.
After that, it is recommended to unlock the Flamethrower, the Goo Gun Specialization, MGL32, Explosive Mine, Gas Grenade, and Pyro Mine respectively. But do not forget that you still have other two class items to unlock.
So, do not rush, unlock the most useful items from each class, then unlock the remaining, less vital items in each class.
Below, you may find the lists of every unlockable item for a heavy build and how much they will cost.

The Best Heavy Build For Cashout Game Mode
Weapon
The first and foremost slot to check out is the Primary Gun slot. Cashout mode offers a mixture of close and mid-range fights, but you will likely find yourself in mid-range fights, especially as a Heavy build player.
So,Lewis Gun is your best friendin this slot, as it has a controllable recoil and decent body and headshot damage. It contains a 47-round magazine smaller than the other Heavy build machine gun, known as the M60, but its amount of damage and low recoil easily compensate for the smaller magazine.
The M60 machine gun was mentioned, so picking it as your reserve gun can be thoughtful. You might find yourself in long and tense fights in Cashout game mode, so having it as an alternative can be a plus.
Specialization
The second vital slot to look into is the Specialization slot. The Heavy build has three different Specializations to choose from. As said, the Cashout game mode demands mostly mid-range battles, but cashing out the gathered vault takes considerable time and usually requires close combats.
So,Charge ‘N’ Slam becomes less valuable if you plan to play the main objective, picking up the vault and cashing it out.
The Mesh Shield Specialization is a better choice in the Cashout game modeas it adds an 1100 health point shield to the already 350 health points of the Heavy build.
You can use it not only as a cover while you and your team are securing the vaults but also you can use it as a cover while using ziplines scattered across the maps.
The Mesh Shield can also be used outside the objective when facing opponents in open fields. Using the Mesh Shield at a suitable period is also vital. You may use the shield while opponents attack you and use your gun when the opposition reloads.
Gadgets
Cashout game mode is played mostly defensively, but as a heavy build, you are also the demolition man. you may choose up to three different gadgets for each build.
The Dome Shield gadget is the first choice; you need defensive mechanisms to prevent others from stealing your vault. You can shoot the opposition from inside out, but you and your teammates will not take damage if you are inside the dome.
Another gadget to pick is the Goo Grenade, which can block enemies’ view of you and the vault and prevent them from shooting you unless they are willing to empty their magazines or use their grenades and other explosives.
Last but not least is the RPG-7, which can easily pave your way to the enemy territory and replace the Charge ‘N’ Slam Specialization to some degree.
For your reserve gadgets, consider picking the Barricade. It can be swapped with the Goo Grenade. The Barricade is stronger than the Goo but covers a smaller area. It is recommended as a way to cover doorways instead of open spaces.
The Best Heavy Build For Bank It Game Mode
The Bank It game mode has a remarkably faster pace than the Cashout game mode, resulting in combats with much closer range.
As a heavy build, you are almost the most essential asset in your team as you can head straight into the battle, neutralize your opponents, and come out with pockets full of coins to deposit. The best weapon of choice in the Bank It mode is the SA1216 Shotgun.
The SA1216 is one of the most potent weapons, but the accuracy of this gun is not that high. So, to get good results with this gun, you need to get used to its recoil.
It is worth mentioning that the Lewis Gun, which was chosen as the best gun for the Cashout game mode, can also come in handy.
Still, as you need to encounter close-range battles, the risk of losing the battles because of the Lewis Gun’s heaviness is relatively high.
As your reserve gun, the Flamethrower is recommended. It has a small magazine and can hurt you while using it, but it damages over time as its flames spread and can scatter enemies all around the area when used.
The Charge ‘N’ Slam was ruled out for the Cashout game mode. Butin the Bank It game mode, the Charge ‘N’ Slam is precisely what you needto carry all the cash and snap out of the high-heat battles in the blink of an eye.
The Charge ‘N’ Slamcan destroy almost any structure in your way and neutralize your enemies with just one hit. This Specialization can also be used to interrupt the other teams’ deposition.
The deposition process in the Bank It game mode is faster than cashing the vaults in the Cashout game mode, and the Charge ‘N’ Slam can easily distract your enemies from deposition.
As mentioned, the Bank It is a fast-paced and explosive game mode, so you will not have the time to block enemies’ vision or hold them back.
All you need is big explosions and fast kills. To do so,it is recommended that you use RPG-7 as your main gadget. This gadget helps you damage multiple enemies simultaneously but can also be used when your Charge ‘N’ Slam Specialization recharges.
As your second gadget, it is recommended that you use C4. The C4 is the most powerful explosive device, and just like the RPG-7, it helps you kill and destroy fast.
Let’s not just focus on the explosives andchoose the Dome Shield as your last gadget, as it can come in handy at deposition, although the deposition time is not that long. Using this gadget requires the enemies to get extremely close to you, giving you the upper hand as a heavy build.
It was said not to focus only on the explosives, but the game mode can make you want to attack the enemy with full firepower. So, consider picking the Frag grenade as your main reserve gadget.
