Jin Kazama Overview
Jin Kazamahas seenmany changes that complement his general playstyle,making the king of neutral even more deadly. While he always had an answer to seemingly everything in previous installments, remembering what countered what and when to use each move could be borderline exhausting.
Fortunately, in Tekken 8, Jin’s move list now hasoptions that can be used in multiple situations,enabling him tofreely control the neutral game,making hispokes and pressure more pronouncedthan usual, which is absolutely scary for his opponent.
While Jinstill has access to his Electrics*,he was never really all that reliant on them like Kazuya was, and that remains the case in Tekken 8 as well. While they will come in handy, Jin hasmany more tools at his disposal, allowing you to succeed with him even if you never land an Electricin the entire match.
- -Electrics are powerful attacks of the Mishima family that typically Launch or Tornado their target on contact. However, the input for these actions is complex, f ★ d/f, which can be tricky for newcomers to pick up and learn. These inputs also must be performed accurately and quickly to be Electric. If you’re slow, the attack will be standard, losing out on additional properties!
