There are plenty of exciting events to face inTerraria. From the pre-Hardmode Goblin Army to the seasonal and themed events in Hardmode, there’s a lot to test your battle prowess against for coins and loot.
Many of them show up randomly or once you meet certain requirements, but you’ll often want to farm them for specific loot, or just for how lucrative they can be. One of these events is the Solar Eclipse, and it contains a variety of great items like weapons, wings, and some handy accessories. If you want to farm it and its' loot, you’ll need plenty of Solar Tablets.
How To Get A Solar Tablet
If you want to get your hands on a Solar Tablet, you’ll firstneed to be in Hardmode, and you’ll alsoneed to have beaten Plantera, andobtained the Jungle Temple Keyfrom her.
If you meet all those requirements,head over to the Jungleand go downunderground to the Jungle Temple.
If youhaven’t found the Jungle Templebefore now, look forreddish-brown, unbreakable blocksdeep in theunderground Jungle. They’ll form alarge, oblong rectangular shape.
Once you reach it,locate the entrancein one of the top corners, andunlock the door to the Jungle Templewith your key, or if you’ve got it unlocked already,head on inside the temple. From here, there aretwo ways to get Solar Tablets:
WholeSolar Tabletscan be foundin any Lihzahrd Chestswithin the Temple, and there’sroughly a 20 percent chanceof getting one from them.
If you want tofarm Solar Tablets, so you can farm the Solar Eclipse event, you candefeat Flying SnakesandLihzahrd enemies. These two enemy types each have about a15 percent chanceofdroppingone to two Solar Tablet Fragments.
You can also findSolar Tablet Fragmentson their own or alongside whole Tabletsinside Lihzahrd Chests.
You cancombine eightof theseSolar Tablet Fragmentsat aMythril or Orichalcum Anvilto create asingle Solar Tablet.
