Finding just the right location for your first base inPalworldcan be tricky, especially when you’re first starting. You don’t know yet what materials you’ll need to be close to or what kind of space you’ll need.
More than likely, you picked a random spot to start building your base, just to get things going. But as you progress, you’ll soon realize what you really need in a functioning base. But can you start fresh somewhere else? The answer is yes! It’s tedious, but you are able to move your base to a new location. And we’ll tell you how to do it.

Where Should You Move Your Base?
In the real estate world you’ll often hear the phrase: “location, location, location.“That applies to survival games like Palworld as well. Where your base is located can make all the difference in your game.
Before you begin breaking down your old base, you’ll first need tofigure out where you’ll be moving to.

Do you want to be near resources likewoodandstone? Do you want to be close to an area that easy tofarm pals for foodor otherresources? Do you want your base to be in a valley so it’sbetter protected by the mountainssurrounding it?
Where you want to move isup to youand whatyour base needs.

We do recommend, wherever you decide to build your base, finding a large flat space, as it’ll be easier to build your base structures on.
How To Move Your Base
Once you’ve decided where you want to move your base,go into the map, and, when you hover over the base icon, you’ll get theDisassemble Palboxoption.
Select that, and a box will come up telling youwhat is about to happenif you choose to disassemble the Palbox:
SelectYesand the Palbox will disassemble, andcertain structures will automatically vanishas well. Next, go to the new location andbuild a Palbox to establish the new base.
Youwill not lose your base upgradeprogress when you disassemble the Palbox. Once you set it up in the new location, you’ll still be at the same levelyou were before disassembling.
The tedious part will be relocating all of your resources and disassembling the old structures.
Unfortunately, this gamedoesn’t give you wagons or cartsfor easy transport. If you wish to move any resources you’ve collected, you’ll have to do so by hand.
If there is afast travel point near where your base used to be, that will make it a lot easier. Otherwise, if you’d rather just start fresh andbegin grinding for resources at the new place, you’re able to do that as well.
