The villains inDisney Dreamlight Valleylive in harmony with the other villagers, despite their tendencies to cause chaos. Helping them out and building friendships with them is one way to keep an eye on them while also getting to know them better. The Expansion Pass, A Rift In Time, introduces new villains, including Gaston.
Gaston does his best to rule his new empire of Gastonia in the Glittering Dunes, but he needs a sidekick to help him share his greatness. He’ll task you with doing most of the work so he can focus on being the hero he thinks he is.
How To Dress Like Gaston
To unlock this quest, you’ll need toreach Friendship Level sevenwith Gaston, at which point he’ll tell you that he wants you to step up as his sidekick. Your poor performance thus far is due to not understanding what makes a Gastonian so great, so you’ll have to act more like one.
The first step includesdressing more like Gaston. To mimic his style, dress in the following:
You can order items from Scrooge McDuck, such as the Red Polo Shirt, Black Pants, and Brown Lace Up Boots.
Once you’re dressed for success,return to Gaston. He’ll give you instructions for the next steps.
How To Make Gaston’s Dangerous Breakfast
To eat like Gaston, you’ll need tomake a dangerous breakfast. This includes eating Piranhas and Cobra eggs. While you’re able to help Gaston gather these ingredients, you can alsomake Workout Shakesto consume instead (if eating raw ingredients or animal products isn’t your style).

If you choose to make the shakes, thereisn’t a specific recipefor Workout Shakes. Instead, the standard Shake recipes will do.
Once you’ve gathered everything,bring it to Gaston. He’ll sort it out and give you your portion, in which you’ll have to eat:
After eating as much as you may take, update Gaston. There’s still more to do before you are truly Gastonian.
How To Build Gaston’s Gym
Gaston wants to build a place to work on getting bigger and stronger muscles by the Docks. To build Gaston’s gym, you’ll need to gather the following materials:
You canbuild the gym at your Crafting Station. As for theQueen of the Sea Mirror,you canbuy it from Scrooge McDuck. With both prepared, open the furniture menu and place them near the docks.
Next,invite Maui to the gym. Gaston wants him to join in the training, given his large muscles and build. While Maui isn’t particularly interested, he’ll come along anyway.
Show Off Gaston’s Gym Pictures
Wait for Gaston to arriveat the gym and watch his interaction with Maui. After they finish talking,speak to Gastonabout what happened. He expresses no regrets and wants to instead focus on his own greatness, which means taking a picture of his impressive build and sharing it with the other villagers.
Use your camera totake three pictures of Gastonafter his training. Then, show the following villagers the photos:
After you’ve done that,return to Gastonto tell him about your progress. As you talk, he starts to realize that maybe he doesn’t need a sidekick, but a friend, after all.
