Honkai: Star Railis known for having some unique and interactive events, and Critter Pick is definitely one of them. This event was first released in the Version 1.6 update, and it can be unlocked after you finish the first part of Mundane And Divine Trailblaze Continuance.
This event is a part of the Conventional Memoir in the game, which means that you can essentially take part in it at any point butwon’t be able to claim the limited-time rewards after its duration ends.
Complete Critter Creation Guide
During the Critter Pick event, you’ll have to make a total of nine special creations bymatching certain types of critters and achieving Special Mutations. The first Critter will be created for you during the tutorial, but you’ll have to find your own way for the rest. There are three distinctions for each critter in this event:

Finally, the patterns can be identified asspecial drawings on a part of the Critter’s body.
Whenever you’re trying to make a certain Critter,you’ll see the required initial Critters for them. This is quite easy in the beginning since you’ll only need to fulfill two criteria, but it gets upgraded to three later. You can only nurture two Critters at a time, and you’ll have to fulfill all three requirements with these two.
In these cases, one of the Critters will need to have two requirements, which might not always be possible. If you don’t have any Critter with two requirements for a certain mutation, you can try tonurture two Critters with one requirement each to get both of them in the same one. After that, you can use this new Critter with another that has the third requirement to make the Special Mutation.
Whenever a mutation triggers during your nurture process, you may select one item to complete it, and you shouldalways select the item with a special symbol on the top rightto discover a new mutation. Whenever a Special Mutation triggers, you’ll be able to create one of the nine main Critters in the event.
How To Accommodate Critters
While you’re in the process of making Critters in this event, you’ll get certain quests that’llask you to accommodate these Critters a.k.a. give them a home. This can be done by using your Spray Can to mark designated areas for certain activities and then placing the Critters there.
Keep in mind that Critters get along well if they have at least one aspect of their body in common, which means thatyou’d want to put Critters with the same Filling, Skin, or Pattern together. This is a requirement for getting some Jades in the event.
