There is no shortage of movement items inPalworld, making exploration easy and fun. You have Pals you can ride (ground and flying), fast travel, and gliders. In addition to those, you can also unlock and then craft aGrappling Gun.
With a Grappling Gun you’re able to easily travel through a forest or across mountainous regions. You just shoot the gun at a tree, building, or mountain, and it propels you forward to your next target. But how do you unlock it? We’re here to tell you that, as well as how to craft and use it.
How To Unlock The Grappling Gun
The Grappling Gun recipe can be found andunlocked in Ancient Technology Tier 12. Once you have some Ancient Technology Points from defeating bosses, you should be able to unlock it.
Later, as you progress and earn more Ancient Technology Points,you’ll get to unlock the Mega Grappling Gun, which gives you a greater range of use.
How To Craft The Grappling Gun
To craft the Grappling Gun, thefirst thing you’ll need is the Weapon Workbench. This structure is unlocked onTechnology Tier Level 20and takes15 Ingot,50 Wood, andten Nailto build.

How To Use The Grappling Gun
The next part isfun and rather simple to master.
Find a mountain you need to get to the top of quickly or a gap you must cross.Make sure your Grappling Gun is equipped, aim it where you need to go, then pull the trigger.
You’llinstantly be pulled to where you want to go!You can also use the Grappling Gun toget down from a high placewithout the risk of fall damage.
The Grappling Gun doesn’t require ammo, but there is a12-second cooldownbetween each shot.
Keep in mind that the Grappling Gundoesn’t have a lot of range, so finding the best spot to shoot from will take some trial and error until you can make the Mega Grappling Gun.
