In a desert environment, water is often scarce but incredibly important to survival. Much like in real life, water is one of your key resources inMy Time At Sandrock: the majority of your machines need water to function properly, and you’re going to need a lot of it.

Without a steady source of water, your machines eventually cease to function, and you won’t be able to use them again until they have more. In this guide, we’ll show you not only where you can buy water but also how you can utilize naturally occurring Dew and even a few machines to produce your own water.

How To Make Water Out Of Dew

One way to gain water is byturning Dew into Water, and it’s aslow but cheap wayto obtain Water early onandisn’t rationed.

Each time yougather from a plant, such as a Sandberry, harvest plants, and Ball Cactus with your axe,or even whenbreaking Gravel or Hard Rockwith your Pickhammer, you havea chance toobtainDew.

You’ll generally obtain aroundone to three Dewif it does drop.

Ten Dewcan beconverted to one unit of Waterat yourworkbench, and from there, you can deposit that Water directly into your Water Tank.

Asingle unitof Water added to your tank count adds betweenthree and four percentto the total.

How To Purchase Water

Alongside crafting Dew into Water, you can alsopurchase Waterfrom theWater Worldstore, located in thewestern corner of the town.

Burgess runs this store, andeach day,you can purchaseup to five unitsof Water at areduced costas part of the town’s water conservation efforts, generally atX Gols per unit.

you may purchasemore than five units, but thecost will drastically increase,generally double or triple the original cost,depending on the market rate.

Burgess only has atotal of 25units of wateravailableper day,regardless.

Burgess also frequently rewards the player withone unit of Waterwhencompleting his quests.

How To Get Water From A Dew Collector

Once youunlock the ability to research new machines from Qi, you can unlock a way topassively generate Dewwith theDew Collectormachine.

The Dew Collector takesEight Data Disksto unlock, and you’ll needfour materialsto make it: threeWooden Sticks, threeBasic Leather, twoMarble Bricks, and twoStone Troughs.

You’ll also need to haveunlocked the Furnacefrom Qi, andcrafted a Bronze Pickhammer.

Once you have a Dew Collector, all you need to do isplace it in your yard, and it will passively generatefour Dew per day.

A moreadvanced upgradeof the Dew Collector, theSuper Dew Collector, can beresearched at Qi’s Research Centeronce the Dew Collector is unlocked.

It costs18 Data Disks, and takesfive days to research. It offers anincreased Dew Capacity, as well asgenerating more Dewper day.
