As you level up inArk: Survival Ascended, you can unlock new blueprints and increase your stats. Leveling up takes a bit of time but thankfully, nearly everything that you do will provide some experience, which is needed to level up.
Are you looking to level up as quickly as possible? If so, you’re at the right place. Here, we are going to look at the best ways to level up quickly. It’s important to note that even if you aren’t actively trying to level up, you will gain a few levels due to simply exploring and gathering materials.

Finding Explorer’s Notes
Explorer’s Notes are little books of lore that you’re able to find throughout the world. Upon interacting with this book, you willgain a base XP of 100, as well as an increased percentage of experience gained for 600 seconds.If you happen to find two or more notes,this time will stack,giving you more time.
Currently, Explorer’s Notes are in the same locations as the ones found in Ark: Survival Evolved.
Within this time, everything you do will earn more experience. To make the most of this time, we suggest crafting arrows (as well as any simple blueprint) or gathering from bushes. Arrows are a simple blueprint that only requires the following materials.
The other method involves simply running through foliage and repeatedly pressing ‘E’. This will cause you to gather everything from the bushes very quickly, which provides experience.
Crafting Materials
While crafting arrows within 600 seconds of finding an Explorer’s Note is a great way to gain experience, crafting works at any other time too. When you are in the initial phase of the game, you will probably be crafting a lot of items, ranging from simple tools to building foundations.
Each time you craft, you will gain experience, so don’t skip out on crafting engrams that you unlock! We suggest crafting items that you can stockpile to use the in future,such are Narcotics.
Gathering Nearly Every Resource
If you are looking tofarm some resources,you’re able to also expect to level up while doing so. Activities such as mining and chopping down trees willprovide experience while you gather materials.
A wood-farming excursion may provide you with several levelswithout putting much effort into actively doing so.
Taming Dinosaurs
Taming and breeding dinosaursis another great method to obtain experience. Like the other methods, this is a necessity in the game; you don’t have to stop your normal routine to gain experience this way.
Remember, to tame an adult dinosaur, there are two methods you can use. The most common method includesknocking out a dinosaur and placing food into its inventory.You can also take a passive approach. To do so,sneak up to a dinosaurstaying out of sight. Once close enough,you can feed the dino, causing it to become tamed.
Cooking Food
Lastly,cooking food will earn you experience.Food is necessary to survive, soit’s a good idea to always have your cooking pot or campfire going.This way, you will gain experience while also making food to eat.
Overall,it’s pretty easy to level upif you just play the game! Leveling shouldn’t be too difficult, but if you need the extra push,Explorer’s Notes are the way to go.
