Ichiban’s quest in Infinite Wealth feels extremely personal, and it involves him growing as a person. And that Personality mechanic isn’t a minor one, either. Some of the most important systems in the game are directly tied to it. Most activities you engage with will affect it, and it will greatly improve your entire party’s capabilities as it grows. This guide will give you the ins and outs of this mechanic and help you make the most of it!
What Does The Personality Mechanic Do?
For starters, the entire job system is tethered directly to Kasuga’s Personality stats.Jobs only become available once Kasuga hits certain Personality levels.However, it isn’tjustjobs, a number of abilities, and buffs, are tethered to Kasuga’s Personality stats as well. Leveling up Kasuga’s Personality doesn’t just improve him, it helps the whole team!
Jobs are ONLY unlocked through Kasuga’s Personality links.Later in the game, Kiryu will occasionally take the lead, and he has his own unique variation of Kasuga’s Personality system called “The Bucket List”. However, it doesn’t affect a job’s availability.
How Do I Level Up Kasuga’s Personality?
There are a number of ways to improve Kasuga’s Personality. For starters,completing his “Personality Challenges” is a good start.However, those are better chipped away at gradually. Keeping that in mind, the Personality challenges is why you should be doing the following…

Additionally, playing minigames will help improve Kasuga’s Personality as well. Moreover, some decisions you make will, similarly, improve a personality attribute. But,by far, the most effective ways to level up Kasuga’s Personality are through Drink Links and Aloha Links.
Aloha Links
Soon after you arrive in Honolulu, you will run into Kei, who works at the Revolve Bar. Once you do, you will unlock the Aloha Links system.Most of these links are formed by saying “Aloha” to people who have the friend indicator floating above their heads.
However, some of these are initiated by giving them certain types of items or purchasing things from their shops. Drink links
As you improve your bond with your party members, you will unlock their Drink Links. These are intimate conversations that give you an opportunity to get to know your party members.Kasuga will be given multiple chances to respond to the things his associates tell him.Depending on his responses,he will upgrade certain aspects of his Personality by amassiveamount.
