There is plenty to enjoy in the base game forThe Sims 4, from blasting off into space to enjoying a quiet life and achieving goals like having a family. However, sometimes Simmers want some more options, andthat’s where mods come in. One of the most popular of these mods is the Extreme Violence mod.
Extreme Violence is just what it sounds like, adding all sorts of dark and evil actions into the game to allow your Sims to be feared by all. If violence isn’t your thing, it’s best to step away from this mod before even downloading it.
What Is The Extreme Violence Mod
TheExtreme Violence Mod bySacrificialModsis a mod for the base game of The Sims 4, and as you can guess by the title, it includes tons of new extremely violent interactions for Sims to commit, which includekilling other Simsusing weapons,joining gangs,beating up other Sims, and more. These interactions can be committed against other Sims, or your Sim can be the victim of the violence.
The mod alsofeatures a reputation system, where Sims will earn points for violent acts they commit. The more points you have, the more feared your Sim will be in the world, andthese reputation points can be cleared up, or you can leave them to be the scariest Sim in town.
The Extreme Violence Mod has a fair amount of blood and other NSFW content. If you don’t like the sound of that, it’s best to skip putting this mod in your game.
The Extreme Violent Mod can bedownloaded directly from SacrificialSims’Download Page, where you will need to scroll down and find the Extreme Violence Mod.You must download the zip file and put it in your Sims 4 Mod folder, which can be found underDocuments > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 > Mods.
Once the zip file is in your Mods folder,right-click on the zip file and chooseExtract Here to unzip the contents if you’re on a PC.On Mac, you may double-click on the zip file to unzip it. Inside the zip file is a folder with the same name, whichcontains everything needed for the mod,including ts4script files and PACKAGE files.
Do not remove any of the files inside the Extreme Violence folder, or else the mod will not work correctly. This includes all the ts4script files, PACKAGE files, and meshes for objects.
How To Use The Extreme Violence Mod
There are two main ways to interact with the Extreme Violence Mod. There are interactions with other Sims, and interactions with the Sim you’re controlling.
Interactions With Other Sims
When you want to use the Extreme Violence Mod on other Sims,click on the Sim you want to interact with and choose Extreme Violence. This will bring up multiple ways your Sim can interact with others using the mod.
All ways to kill the chosen Sim
All ways to beat up the chosen Sim
Non-Violent Interactions
All other interactions in the mod that don’t fit into the violent interactions
Gangs
Allows you to add or remove chosen Sim to and from gangs
Help Sim With Money For A Better Reputation
Give money to the chosen Sim to improve your Sim’s reputation
Options
Enable and disable mod features for the chosen Sim
There areover 40 ways to kill the selected Sim and multiple ways to beat the other Sim up. Any interaction in the mod that isn’t violent, includingasking the other Sim to be your partner in crime, stealing money, and framing the Sim for your crimes, can be found under Non-Violent Interactions.
If you want the chosen Sim to be immune to the effects of the mod, you can select this under Options, which includesdisabling reactions to violence, and to beimmune to be killed or beaten up.
Interactions With Controlled Sim
The Extreme Violence Mod also has a variety of interactions that can be found byclicking on the Sim you’re currently controlling, and like with other Sims, you can choose Extreme Violence to interact with the Mod. These interactions includechecking your Sim’s reputation,calling the cops,calming your Sim down,sending them into a Rage, and more.
Like when you click on other Sims, you can also select Optionsto disable the Sim from features of the mod, which is also where you can add your Sim to a gang.
