Like most life-sim games, farming and using different types of crops and plants is a big part ofMy Time At Sandrock. You’ll need them to craft materials, cook delicious foods, and sometimes people request them for commissions. One of the crops you’ll encounter is Jute, and it’s pretty important.

Jute is needed to craft materials like Twine and Canvas, and you’ll need plenty of both, not only for commissions from citizens like Justice, but also if you want to craft higher-tier armor pieces.

How To Purchase Jute

There aretwo main waysto get Jute if you need it for crafting or a commission:purchasing itorgrowing it yourself.

Afterrepairing the Hydrogelas part of the main storyline, thestore at the Moisture Farmopens up, and you’re able to start buying small quantities ofalready-grown crops and plants, such asJute.Thefurther you progressin the game, themore cropsyou’ll be able to purchase.

Generally, you canbuy between 15 and 20 Jute per dayfor around 50 Gols, but at times, Zeke’s stock willdrop to between one and three,and this drop tends tolast for a few in-game daysbefore returning to the usual twenty.

How To Grow Jute

Once the Hydrogel is repaired, you’ll alsounlock a set of quests that introduce farming, and different types of seeds will become available to purchase, which allow you togrow crops, including Jute.

To grow Jute, you’ll first need tocraft a Desert Planter Kitof any tier and someJute Cantaloupe Seeds, which can be purchased at theFarm Store and the Moisture Farmfor around80 Gols, depending on the Market Price.

Each Jute seed needs atwo-by-two Straw Gridto grow, and it takesseven days to grow, but once it does, you’ll getaround 20 Juteand ten Cantaloupesper plant.
