Of course, exploring gorgeous landscapes and battling crime syndicates is important, but keeping your companions well-fed is the less glamorous—but still vitally crucial—part of your adventure.

Red berries and mushrooms can only carry you so far, and if you find your Pals going on strike, your squad might be in need of a more nourishing food supply. However, obtaining advanced seeds isn’t as simple as foraging on the ground or beating up a few Tanzee. This guide will show you exactly how to sourceTomato Seeds.

What Pals Drop Tomato Seeds

Like most things in the Palpagos Islands, Tomato Seeds can most reliably be farmed bydefeating or catching specific Pals. These listed Pals have been known to drop the seeds that can kickstart your culinary adventure.

Remember thatcatching Pals will also yield resources. Fill out your Paldeck while stocking up on your pantry essentials!

Palworld - Broncherry and its habitat on world map

Broncherry

The Broncherry is a Grass element Pal that resembles a leafy sauropod dinosaur.

They can be found in theBamboo Grove areaof the map, around theAscetic Falls fast travel point (-218, -440), as well as around theDeep Bamboo Thicket fast travel point (-325, -202). They spawn in these areas at aroundlevel 20.

These huge monsters are docile but hit like a truck when provoked.

Dinossom Lux

The Dinossom Lux is an Electric element Pals that resemble large yellow bipedal dinosaurs. They can be found in theDessicated Desert areaof the map, around theDuneshelter fast travel point (353, 351). They spawn in these areas at aroundlevel 35-40.

A Dinossom Lux Field Alpha boss can also be found in the Dessicated Desert area. When encountered as a Field Alpha Boss, it is Level 47.

Though itsboss icon can be found at(350, 540), you’ll need to find it by traveling through the Furthest Mineshaft, whoseentrance is nearby at (346, 572).

Like all Field Alpha Pals, the Dinossom Lux willrespawn after a one-hour cooldown.

Mossanda

The Mossanda is a Grass element Pal that resembles a giant panda covered in leaves and moss.

They can be found in the Mossanda Forest area of the map, around theMossanda Forest fast travel point (230, -118). They spawn in these areas at aroundlevel 25.

Vaelet

The Vaelet is a Field Alpha Boss that can be found in the wilderness. When encountered as a Field Alpha Boss, it is Level 30.

As with all Field Alpha Bosses, the Vaelet willrespawn after a one-hour cooldown.

Wumpo Botan

Wumpo Botan is yet another Field Alpha Boss that can be found in the wilderness at (456, -40). When encountered as a Field Alpha Boss, it is Level 38.

As with all Field Alpha Bosses, the Wumpo Botan willrespawn after a one-hour cooldown.

Palworld - Crop Plantations

Regular Wumpo Botan can also befound in the Wilderness Sanctuary No. 2. at (-620, -166), southwest of the Forgotten Island fast travel point.

Of these creatures, theBroncherrywill likely be the easiest one to farm, as it is the lowest level Pal on this list that isn’t a Field Alpha with a respawn cooldown.

Where To Buy Tomato Seeds

Sometimes, fighting off dinosaurs and bosses is too much work, no matter how juicy the tomatoes are. If this is the case, you can also buy Tomato Seeds from various Wandering Traders in the game.

One of theWandering Tradersat Fisherman’s Point (-479, -744)carries both Tomato Seeds and Tomatoes themselves. He’s the one standing on the dock to the southeast of the village. His stock is as follows:

How To Plant Tomatoes

Sadly, your Pals aren’t going to start roasting these Seeds in your Cooking Pot. In order to properly make use of them, you’ll need toplant them in Tomato Plantationsand grow them into Tomatoes.

The technology to craft the Tomato Plantations can only belearned at Level 32, making it a mid-game recipe.

Tomato Plantation

Though you may almost do most of the crop planting, watering and harvesting yourself, remember that you’re playing Palworld, notStardew Valley! With the right set of Pal work suitabilities, you can fully automate the agricultural process of farming Tomatoes. Just make sure to put these Pals in your Palbox:

Once you’ve crafted the Tomato Plantation, it canproduce Tomatoes infinitelyas long as it is being worked, and you will no longer need any Tomato Seeds. You only need seeds to craft the Plantation itself.
