The Awakened King DLC inRemnant 2takes you back to Losomn with a mission to finally meet the One True King. In this new expansion, you’ll be able to experience new places before reaching the castle where the king awaits. One of these places is the Derelict Lighthouse.
While exploring the new area and reaching the Lighthouse, you’ll discover the need for the Lighthouse key to unlock two doors inside. Fortunately, the key is located nearby, and to obtain it, you’ll have to defeat a mini-boss.
How To Get The Lighthouse Key
As you reach theDerelict Lighthouse, progress through the area until youreach the first checkpoint. At this point, you’ll notice two paths, one on the right and one on the left.
Opt for the left path, which leads youinside a building. Inside, you’ll encounterThunderpiercer and Gorecarver mini-boss fight, both relatively easy to defeat.
Be cautious of the constant lightning attacks from Gorecarver. It’s wise to lure him away, defeat him first, and then take on Thunderpiercer.
Once you’ve defeated both enemies, you’ll obtain theLighthouse Key.
How To Use The Lighthouse Key
Once you’ve got the Lighthouse Key,head towards the lighthouseyou’ve seen from a distance. This key unlocks both locked doors there, butthere’s a trick.
When you reach the bridge leading to the lighthouse, cross it andat the end,you’ll notice a narrow path on the left. Follow it to discover a secret room beneath the lighthouse. Inside, there’s a locked door requiring the Lighthouse Key.
In order to unlock it, open your menu, go to your inventory, andselect Inspect on the Lighthouse Key.Rotate the keyuntil yousee the Interact option.
Click on it, triggering an animation that transforms the Lighthouse Key.
Now,use the modified key to interact with the door and unlock it. Behind the door, you’ll find theSparkfire Shotgun Long Gun.
When you unlock the door to get the weapon,the key remains in your inventoryand doesn’t disappear,but not the other way around.
Therefore,be sure to use it on the first doorbefore attempting to open the second one.
From here, continue forward by climbing up the first ladder, then ascend another ladder. After the second climb,jump through the windowin front of you to reach the front of the lighthouse.
Once inside, proceed until you encounter thesecond locked door. However, before unlocking it, return the key to its original form byrepeating the earlier process of inspecting the key.
After restoring the key, use it to unlock the second door. Outside,on your left, you’ll find a small room with an item on a table; that’s theLighthouse Keeper’s Ring.
The Lighthouse Keeper’s Ringautomatically generates three Mod Power per secondforeach entity within 10 metersexperiencing a Negative Status Effect, witha maximum of five stacks.
