It’s time to ring in the New Year in style with the Heavensturn event inFinal Fantasy 14. This year’s celebrations will allow players to bag themselves the adorable Ryunosuke minion, which is a chocobo chick in a little dragon costume.
The event runs from today until June 04, 2025 at 6.59am PST/14:59 GMT. Seasonal quests cannot be completed after this time, so be sure to earn your new minion before then. Here’s everything you need to know about the event and how to complete it.
‘To Be A Mascot’ Seasonal Quest Walkthrough
You can unlock the seasonal quest ‘To Be a Mascot’ by speaking withRyu Metsukeat(X:11.5, Y:13.9)inLimsa Lominsa, Upper Decks.
You must be at least Level 15 to accept this quest.
After the short conversation, speak toRyu Bugyoat(X:11.5, Y:13.3)for a cutscene.
Next, go to(X:11.3, Y:11.5)and speak toRyu Bugyoagain. Choose whichever answer you prefer.
(X:8.2, Y:11.8)
Go to(X:11.5, Y: 11.3)and speak toRyu Bugyoto report your findings.
Travel toMiddle La Noscea(Summerford Farms is the nearest Aetheryte to where you need to be). You can findSiblyat(X:20.8, Y:18.0).
Your quest is complete! However, you’ll need to take on another quest to earn that coveted minion.
‘Unlike A Dragon’ Seasonal Quest Walkthrough
Speak toRyu Bugyoat(X:20.8, Y:18.0)inMiddle La Noscea(right where you handed in the previous quest) to start ‘Unlike a Dragon’.
Head to(X:20.0, Y:13.5)and speak with them again for a cutscene.
Return to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks and speak with Ryu Bugyo at(X:11.4, Y:13.5)to have them and Ryunosuke follow you while speaking with the following NPCs:
Idle Yellowjacket
(X:11.2, Y:7.3)
Return toRyu Metsukeat(X:11.5, Y:13.9)to complete the quest and earn theRyunosuke minionand’Next Time, on Dragon ‘Bo’achievement
What Are Omikuji?
Once you’ve completed the seasonal quests, you can speak to the Omikujishi to draw omikuji, with 12 new fortunes being added for this year’s event.
An omijuji is a random fortune. You can speak to theFar Eastern Omikujishiat(X: 11.7, Y:14.2)inLimsa Lominsa Upper Decks. You can draw an Omikuji for 100 gil each time.
You cannot review past fortunes once you close the window, so be sure to screenshot your results if you wish to show your friends!
