Remnant 2the Awakened King DLC is a new expansion for the game, introducing new content such as a new archetype, new locations, bosses, and of course, new weapons and equipment. Amid the array of added ranged and melee weapons, there’s one that might catch your eye, especially if you’re a scythe enthusiast; the Ritualist Scythe.
While this weapon is the default forthe Ritualist Archetype, you might want to acquire it in your current playthrough, and you certainly can. Unlike other weapons that typically require finding materials for crafting, obtaining this weapon involves locating two specific parts of the scythe.
How To Get The Ritualist Scythe
Firstly, you need to findthe Forgotten Commune dungeon. If it’s your first time playing the DLC,look for the door near Leywise. In case you’ve rerolled the DLC,the door’s location will be different.
Once you’re inside the Forgotten Commune, move ahead until youreach the first checkpoint. Shortly after, you’ll spotan altar with a glowing purple light. Shoot it tostart the boss fight against Befouled Altar.
The boss summons a bunch of enemies, but yourmain focus should be shooting the altar.
After defeating it, you’ll receive theScythe Blade, the first part of our weapon.
As you continue through the dungeon towards the end, you’ll come acrossthe same altar again. The process remains the same,defeat the altar, and this time you’ll acquire theScythe Hilt.
Now comes the tricky part.Open your inventory and inspect the Scythe Hilt.Rotate the handle toward youon the Inspect menu, and you’ll seean interact option.
Click on it, and in the next menu,you can add the Scythe Blade to it. Doing this will automatically transform these two quest items into theRitualist Scythe.
