There’s no one way to go about your job inLethal Company, with the title giving you purchasable tools from the start to make each trip easier. One of these tools, the Radar Booster, is great for curious souls or those who are adventuring by themselves.
The Radar Booster works like another player, allowing you to toggle the monitor to it when you leave it inside the bunker or somewhere outside on the level. This can serve many functions, including letting you monitor a certain area or signaling your friends about trouble.

Lethal Company is still in Early Access on Steam, which means that the content may get updated or changed in the future. If that happens, we will update this guide with the most up-to-date information.
How To Get The Radar Booster
As with many other tools in the game, you canfind the Radar Booster in the terminal store for 60 credits. It’sa useful tool early in the game, so it’s no surprise that it is one of the less expensive items, but stillmore than the flashlight or Walkie-talkie.
you may activate this itemwith the Left Mouse Button, and if you’re holding it, you can drop itwith the G key. If you go back to the ship andswitch the camera between active players on the monitor, this will switch to the Radar Boosteras an extra camera, showing its name near the top and middle of the screen.

There aretwo terminal commands for the Radar Booster, with one added in version 45. To activate them, you simply need totype “Flash” or “Ping”,followed by the Radar’s nameshown on the monitor.
Using the two Radar Booster functions isgreat when you’re playing with friends, but less useful if you’re alone. For it to work, you need someone on the ship who can see or hear when you’re in dangerand activate whichever command is needed.

How To Use The Radar Booster
There aremultiple ways to use the Radar Booster,as it’s one of the more versatile items in the game, and if you’re playing by yourselfyou can use it to scout out locationsorsee what’s behind locked doorsbefore you waste a key. However, playing with at least one other personopens new opportunities.
Unlike the fading Ping noise, usingthe Flash will affect nearly every enemyto some degree and can irritate others.
When using the terminal functions for the Radar Booster, it’s important to remember that both players and enemies can hear the ping noise. This canhelp you guide your friendsback toward the entrance, butit may also draw in any nearby monstersthat can hear.
If you’re attempting touse the flash on the Radar Booster to help allies escape, be warned thatthey will be blinded if they look in its direction. You’ll be able to see which way they are running and looking, somake sure to time out the use properly.
