The Moogle Treasure Trove event has returned toFinal Fantasy 14, but this time with a fresh new spin! Split into two parts, The First Hunt For Genesis Guide is now live and offers players a host of rewards, including the coveted Mameshiba Neckerchief, but this time with even more ways to earn Irregular Tomestones of Genesis I.
This event runs from today until July 23, 2025 at 7:59 a.m. (PDT)/14:59 (GMT). Tomestones cannot be earned after this time so make sure you get everything you need before the event ends.
As some of the objectives will change week to week, we will update this article accordingly each week.

Standard Objectives
Standard objectives can be repeated as many times as you like, so you can keep earning tomestones.
The time limit on the below duties is until the end of the Moogle Treasure Trove: The First Hunt for Genesis.

All the Fish in the Sea
Level 1 Fisher
You must earn a minimum of 1,200 points on an Ocean Fishing voyage to earn tomestones.

Weekly Objectives
These objectives can only be completed once per week. Each player’s weekly objective will bechosen randomly from the range of available standard objectives.
Minimog Challenges
Minimog challenges can only be completed once per week. In addition, you can only complete one of them - the game gives you two different ways to get the same set of ten Tomestones.
Week 1
The time limit on the below duties is until July 16, 2025 at 12:00 am (PST)/8:00am (GMT).
Complete 5 FATEs in Lakeland or Kholusia.

Triple Triad
Win a game of Triple Triad against Fufulupa in Western Thanalan.
Week 2
You must complete one of these challenges before Jul 03, 2025 at 12:00 am (PST)/8:00 am (GMT)
Decipher a timeworn toadskin map and collect the treasure.
Week 3
You must complete one of these challenges before Jul 11, 2025 at 12:00 am (PST)/8:00 am (GMT)
Complete 5 FATEs in Amh Araeng or Il Mheg.
Catch an armorer.
Armorers are found at the fishing hole inSwiftperch between the hours of 19:00 pm and 03:00 am(Eorzean Time).Northern Krillcan be used as bait.
Week 4
You must complete one of these challenges before July 30, 2025 at 12:00 am (PST)/8:00 am (GMT)
Win a game of Triple Triad against the Indolent Imperial in Mor Dhona
Week 5
You must complete one of these challenges before Jun 18, 2025 at 12:00 am (PST)/8:00 am (GMT)
Complete five FATEs in the Rak’tika Greatwood or the Tempest.
Ultimog Challenges
Ultimog Challenges can only be completed once per event, but yields the biggest tomestone reward.

Ocean Fishing
Score at least 8,000 points during a single Ocean Fishing voyage.

How To Claim And Spend Your Tomestones
Tomestones from standard objectives are automatically added to your inventory, but tomestones earned from weekly objectives, Minimog challenges, and Ultimog challengesmust be claimed via the ‘Claim Rewards’ button in the Mogpendium.
