The Glider allows you to travel over great distances much quicker inEnshrouded. It relies on your stamina bar to allow you to glide over the terrain, across gorges and caverns, and over the top of otherwise pesky Enshrouded areas.
You get the recipe for the Glider fairly early on in the game, and you’ll need Shroud Wood, Animal Fur, String and Shroud Spores to craft it. Here’s how to get all of those materials, so you’re able to get your hands on the Glider quickly.

How To Craft The Glider
The Glider is crafted on theWorkbenchwhich is the first crafting station you’ll build. You’ll just need String and Wooden Logs to get started.
To craft the Glider, you’ll need:
Shroud Wood
You can collect Shroud Wood by cutting down large trees in Enshrouded zones. You’ll need an axe to cut down the trees. You can read more about Shroud Wood here.
Animal Fur
you may get Animal Fur by killing wolves and other beast creatures. Animal Fur can also be found in chests and destructible objects.
String
String can be crafted from Plant Fibre or found in destructible objects. You can read more about String here.
You can get Shroud Spores by killing Enshrouded enemies.
How To Use The Glider
The Glider uses up your stamina bar while you’re gliding. To improve your stamina, eat food, drink water, or wear gear (like the Scout Armor Set) that improves your overall stamina. This will allow you to travel further.
You should also jump from the highest spot possible and keep an eye out for wind currents - in certain areas, these can be used to extend the duration of your flight.
