There are a few mineable nodes inPalworld, and it can be difficult to locate them and figure out which ones you need. When inventory space is limited, you might find yourself trying to prioritize which of those heavy inventory items likeSulfur, Ore, Stone, and Wood you need.

Likely, one of the things that brought you to Palworld in the first place is seeing Pals with guns, but to get to a point where you can craft guns and ammo, you’ll need sulfur to do it. Sulfur is one of those heavy mineable ores that you will have to go out of your way to locate even when storage space is low.

How To Get Sulfur

Sulfur nodescan be found a few ways, but if you don’t want to travel too far, you canfind sulfur in just about any dungeon, like the one by theRain Syndicate Tower.Sulfur nodes look very similar to Ore nodes, but unlike Ore nodes, Sulfur nodes arebig yellowish rocks that don’t shine in the light.

To mine them, all you need is yourgood old-fashioned pickaxeoraPal with a Partner Skillthat lets them mine with you, soDigtoiseis a good choice. As previously stated, Sulfur can get kind of heavy in your inventory, soif you’re in search of large quantities to craft guns and ammo, consider equipping a Pal like Broncherry, Wumpo, or any other Pal that increases your inventory space when they’re in your party.

You can useDigitoise’s Partner Skill, Drill Crusher,to more quickly mine ores like Sulfur.

Where To Find Sulfur

The best places to find Sulfur so far are byclearing dungeons, mining nodes in the Desert, or finding them in theBamboo Grove. Sulfur is currentlymost abundant in the Desert, but since that’s a long way to travel if you made your base out by the spawn point, you’re able to alwayshead to dungeonsand mine Sulfur that way.

The Desert is also a pretty vast area with very little access to teleport points, sounless your base is built at a Sulfur node location, it might be a good idea to look for Sulfur elsewhere.

If you want to explore the map more quickly, use arideable Pal who can fly, ordump your inventory, die, and respawnat spawn locations onother islands. Almost every island has ateleport pointfor you to unlock, so you can get home easily.

What Is Sulfur Used For

You need Sulfur tocraft Gunpowder, necessary to make ammunitionfor both you and your Pals. Sinceammunition gets used up quickly, you may find that you need anear-constant supply of Sulfur.

Gunpowder is made by combiningtwo Charcoal and one Sulfurin the Primitive Workbenchor any upgraded form of the Workbench.

Currently,no recipes except for gunpowder require Sulfur, but the following items require Gunpowder(and subsequently, Sulfur) to be crafted:
