While exploring the world ofLego Fortnite, you may notice a suspicious number of spiders hidden under rocks or roaming in packs. These arachnids will slowly crawl up to you to attack, and always drop a spiderweb that can be used in various crafting recipes.
While these sticky webs may seem useless when you start the game, as your village progresses, you can craft these mob drops in Silk Fabrics, which are used to craft handy items such as a glider and various decorations. If you need help figuring out how to turn these webs into Silk Fabric, follow the steps below.

How To Get Spiderwebs
Before you’re able to craft Silk Fabrics, you’ll need to collect the base materials necessary for your project. Luckily, you only need to collect Spiderwebs to complete this recipe,so craft a sword and prepare to explore the world in search of spiders.
The first sword you can make is theShortsword, which only requiresfive Wooden Rods.

These small enemies typically spawn in packs of three in the overworld, sometimes spawn when you collect Granite rocks from the ground, or can befound in caves. Luckily, while wielding a sword, spiders die in just a single hitand always drop a spiderweb for you to pick up.
You may want tocraft multiple swords and a shield at your crafting benchbefore you head out to collect items from enemies.

Multiple recipes in the game require materials you can only get through combat, so it is advantageous to always be prepared andpick up any mob drops you can find.
How To Build A Spinning Wheel
The next step to creating Silk Fabrics is to build the Spinning Wheel, which can be unlocked early in the game. You may already have this work station unlocked, but if you do not, you’ll need to complete some simple tasks:
After completing these introductory tasks, you’ll unlock the crafting recipe for the Spinning Wheel. This station allows you torefine items such as wool and spiderwebs into different cords and threads, which are used in more advanced recipes.

To craft the Spinning Wheel, you’ll need the following crafting materials:
8xPlank

5xWooden Rod
5x Wood
5x Wolf Claw
It’s best to place workstations under cover as most cannot be used when it’s raining.
How To Craft Silk Threads
By using the Spinning Wheel, you can turn your spider webs into Silk Threads by selecting the correct recipe. This will passively transform your spiderwebs into silk threads, so you are free to explore, build, or craft other items while the spiderwebs are refined.
Luckily, you only need one spider web to make a single silk thread,so you don’t lose anything while refining this specific recipe.
How To Build A Loom
Before you may turn your threads into fabrics, you will need to unlock yet another crafting station called the Loom. This station specializes in creating two types of fabrics, which are used to create furniture, such as couches and chairs in your house, as well as more interesting items, such as Balloons and Gliders.
You must take a long trip across your world to find a desert biome, the Dry Valley, and thencut down a cactus to collect Flexwood and unlock the Loom recipe.
9xFlexwood
9x Flexwood Rods
6xSand Claw

How To Craft Silk Fabrics
Similar to the Spinning Wheel, the Loom is another station that passively refines your materials over a short period. However, unlike the crafting recipe for Silk Thread, crafting Silk Fabric takes significantly more materials.
Specifically, you will need five Silk Threads to craft just one Silk Fabric, so prepare to farm even more spiderwebs if you do not have enough materials. You will most likely want at least 30 Silk Threads when you craft a loom, because the Glider recipe requires six Silk Fabrics.
