Lethal Company Player Getting Possessed With Mask

Teleporter

The Teleporter can be used to teleport a player (or their corpse) back to the ship. Unfortunately, the playerwill drop anything they havein their inventory (bothequipment and scrap).

Players whosebodies are completely destroyedin the process of dying cannot be teleported back in this way. This includes beingeaten by the Forest KeeperorEarth Leviathan, as well asdying to quicksand.

Lethal Company - Inverse teleporter placed in ship

This means that the Teleporter should beused as a last resortonly to teleport a player out of sure-death situations, or to retrieve a body in order to avoid the body-retrieval penalty fee at the end of the day. Examples of uses include but are not limited to teleporting a player:

In order to use the Teleporter, make sure that the radar screen at the front of the ship is monitoringthe correct playeryou want to teleport, theninteract with the red buttonnext to the screen.

Lethal Company - Loud Horn cord placed in ship

Since you may not always have a walkie-talkie, we recommend communicating and setting up a"distress signal” visible on the ship’s radarto indicate a desire to be teleported.

A common signal is to spin around rapidly; however, wedo not recommend this due to the behavior of the Masked entity.

Oops! That’s Not A Player!

Teleporterscan work on playersthat have beenkilled and possessed by a Dramatic Mask.

The Masked—hostile entities that take over a player’s body—willappear as normal players on the radar. This can bedisastrous for the players on the ship,as the Masked will swiftly attack and infect the other players.

Once a player is killed by a Masked, they are dead, cannot be revived, and should be treated the same as any aggressive monster.

The Masked will attempt to trick the ship operator intoteleporting it into the ship. It does this bymimicking a normal player in distressby spinning around in circles on the radar. It will also occasionally stop andlook around “in confusion”, much like a player might.

If a player isspinning wildly in circles or acting strangely, be careful before teleporting them!

Inverse Teleporter

The Inverse Teleporter works the opposite way as a Teleporter: it will instead teleport any players standing on it,to a random locationin the facility.

Because the target location iscompletely random, it is possible to spawn onto enemies, into locked rooms, or onto mines and turrets.

The player will alsodrop everything in their inventoryin the ship, meaning that they will not be able to communicate via walkie-talkie, nor will they have a weapon or flashlight.

We recommend using the Inverse Teleporterat the start of the day—when enemies have not yet had a chance to spawn, grabbing whatever scrapyou can find, andreturning to the shipas soon as possible to gear up before heading back in.

The Inverse Teleporter can also be used as alast-ditch attempt to obtain scrapif you come up short on your last day of quota, though this isvery dangerous.

In order to use the Inverse Teleporter, interact with the yellow buttonnext to the screen, stand on the Inverse Teleporter, and wait for the red particle animation to complete.

Loud Horn

The Loud Hornis capable of making a blaring horn noise thatcan be heard anywhereon the moon, both inside and outsidethe facility.

To use the Loud Horn, interactwith its cord.Holding down the buttonwill cause the sound to persist.

Alerting The Crew

This can be used by the ship’s operator toalert the crew inside the buildingof something, in the event that not all of the team has walkie-talkies.

It’s recommended that youagree on what this signal meansbefore the group splits up.

One common use is tolet the crew know that sunset is approachingand that they should begin to make their way back to the ship.

Eyeless Dog Bait

Another use for the Loud Horn is todraw Eyeless Dogs, whichrely solely on their sense of hearingto hunt prey, away from players returning to the ship. The blaring of the horn comes from theback of the ship, and using the horn will attract any Eyeless Dogs around to that area.

That said, it may backfire or create an even more dangerous situation for the players bydrawing Eyeless Dogs all over the mooncloser to the ship. As such, you should only use the Loud Horn for this purpose when you arealmost ready to leave the moon.

Signal Translator

The Signal Translatorcan be used to broadcast awritten message of nine characters maximum, toevery playeron the moon. The message is typedslowly, letter by letter, across the players' screens.

Due to the severely limited character limit, we recommendagreeing on some code-words or abbreviationsbefore heading into the facility.

Experienced teams can even agree onsingular numbers or letters for certain situationsto ensure the messages are received efficiently—for instance, “1” represents “eyeless dogs hunting near the ship”, “2” represents “earth leviathan spawned near the ship”, etc.

Special characters will not show on the transmission, butmathematical expressions(such as +, =, etc) are allowed.

To use the Signal Translator, type “transmit [message]” into the ship terminal, and hit enter.
