It’s fairly common to see games likeMy Time at Sandrockoffer a skill tree of some kind, and Sandrock’s skill tree is not only varied but wide on every branch. With four individual categories to build up as you play – combat, gathering, socializing, and working at your shop – your builder will be the best-rounded in no time.
Perks for upgrading your skill tree in Sandrock range from bonus experience to more money, all the way to mastery of your four skills. Here, we’re breaking down all the Knowledge Points in My Time at Sandrock to help you plan ahead.

What Are Knowledge Points?
Beginning when your builder reachesLevel Fivein their experience, you’ll unlock a new tab in your pause menu - theKnowledge Pointstab. The icon for it looks like anilluminated lightbulbon your menu.
In My Time at Sandrock, Knowledge Points are tangible ways to note thatyour builder is learning new skills. You earn points forgaining experience in each of the four categories, and each category has its own, separate well of points.

You’ll use Knowledge Points tounlock new perks in that categorythat make your builder’s life just a bit easier. Thesefour categoriesare:
When you’re doing various activities around Sandrock, pay attention to thelist of rewards for each activity in the bottom-left cornerof your screen. You’ll often see Knowledge Points crop up here as you complete other milestones.

To the right of your quick bar, when you see a lightbulb, it means you’ve got unspent Knowledge Points!
Putting Points Into An Upgrade May Unlock More Upgrades
Each of the Knowledge Point upgrades you can get in My Time at Sandrock will havebetweenone and three tiersbefore it’s fully unlocked. You get a new perk for each knowledge point, with the best one coming with the last Point you spend.
You don’t have to spendallyour Knowledge Points on one perk at a time - you may diversify your skills as you see fit. You can always max out a perk later if there’s something else you’d really like instead!

And as you spend your Points, if there’s aline connecting that perk to another perkthat’s grayed out and marked with a “?” instead of an image, thenanother tier of perks unlocksin a similar vein to what you’ve just finished.
you’re able to thenspend points on the new tier as you wish, but keep in mind that some of these rewards willalsounlock another subsequent tier once you invest in them, too.

All Knowledge Point Perks
To help you plan out how you’ll spend your knowledge points, we’ve kept track ofeach upgrade, each level, and which subsequent upgrade it unlocksfor each of the four different Knowledge Point branches in My Time at Sandrock.
Any Knowledge Point perk that’s locked behind you unlocking at least one tier of the perk before it will have the necessary perk listed in the “Prerequisite Knowledge” column in the tables below.
