Iron Crown is a new Steel/Psychic-Type Pokemon that can be found inPokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk. It’s the future Paradox Pokemon of Coballion, one of Unova’s Legendary Swords, and features their signature move, Sacred Sword.

While you can catch it before the DLC credits roll, it requires you to go pretty far out of your way if you don’t have Pokemon Home to complete the Pokedex. After you’ve gotten it to spawn, you’ll have to journey back to Paldea and track it down in Area Zero, where it’s rather tucked away.

How To Catch Iron Crown

Once you see Iron Crown, you can approach it and initiate the battle, since it isa very standard legendary fight that isn’t worth using a Master Ball on.

Iron Crown knows Sacred Sword, Tachyon Cutter, Future Sight, and Volt Switch, soit has no way of healing and no moves that do recoil damage.Simply whittle it down to one HP with False Swipe and put it to sleep, then throw Pokeballs as needed.

Bring a level 100 Venasaur with Sleep Powder, False Swipe, Synthesis, andthen Terastalize it, so it loses its Poison-Typingand won’t be weak to Future Sight. From that point onward it’ll be just a war of attrition, somake sure you’ve stocked up on Ultra Balls and Timer Ballsbefore the fight and just keep throwing until one clicks.
