The moment you unlock weapon upgrading in chapter 3 ofLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealth,you’ll probably have one burning question: where the hell do I find those geodes? If you have been scavenging around trash cans, you will likely have a healthy number of shards, but shards only dosofar.
Youmaythink that you simply have to scavenge around Honolulu, but even if you head to the areas of the city filled with tougher enemies, you aren’t going to find any of those geodes. But worry not, friend. We’ll tell you all the places you can find those Geodes, including ways to get themprettyearly.
Geodes By Way Of Labyrinth
This is one of the better ways to get geodes “early”. However, the obvious question is what does “early” mean here.You won’t get access to the Labyrinth until Chapter 5. However, once you do, you will be able to swap out the floppy discs you encounter throughout for any Geode of your choosing. Pragmatically speaking, this will be the best method to acquire Geodes.
Getting Geodes From Sujiman Raids
Sujiman Raids provide you with resources. While this initially means a whole lot of shards,once you increase your Sujiman Trainer Rank, you will be able to better resources from these battles! Sujiman Raids will become available as soon as you complete the Sujimon, Generation II Substory in Chapter 4.
So, if you don’t mind indulging in a Sujimon-centric distraction, that is the best bet for you to acquire Geodes as early as possible. That being said, there is a pretty notable downside…these raids are going to beprettytough, and they will require you to grind quite a bit to beat them. However, technically, this is the method for getting Geodes at the earliest chapter possible.
The Raids will start featuring Geodes once you get your second badge.
Getting Geodes From Standard Enemies
You will eventually be rewarded with Geodes just by fighting run-of-the-mill enemies. However,you won’t find that enemies are regularly providing you with Geodes until you hit Chapter 8.So, if you are patient, you will eventually be swimming in Geodes. However, that certainly isn’t themostproactive approach to acquiring them.
Exchanging Shards For Geodes
Once you unlock the General Goods Cart, you will be able to exchange Shards for Geodes.This works similarly to a Hero’s Harvest cart where you exchange raw materials for healing items. Unfortunately, the first General Goods Cart you will encounter is in Chapter 8.
