There are many tasks to keep you occupied inLego Fortnite, but one of the things that might hold you back from the progress you want to make is finding out how to get certain resources. Some resources might require trial and error, better tools, or even crafting bench upgrades.
Frostpine is one of the resources you’ll need to keep making progress in the game. Luckily, from the name of this resource we can guess that it’s in the Frostlands, but acquiring some isn’t as straightforward. The Frostlands are tricky to navigate safely due to the harsh climate and mobs.
How To Find Frostpine
You canfind Frostpine in the Frostlands. The Frostlands are thesnowy, mountainous areasthat you can usually see in the distance.
You may be able to obtain some Frostpineat the border of the Grasslandsand the Frostlands without being affected too much by the cold climate.
Pine treeswithout snow on their brancheswill also stillgive you Frostpine woodeven though they seem as though they are in the Grasslands biome.
Bring aSpicy Burger or some hot peppersfor chopping Frostpine trees in the border region. It’s less cold, so you won’t need to worry as much about fullypreparing for the coldwith special charmsunless you venture further into the Frostlands.
Wood stumps, sticks, and fallen logs in the Frostlandswill only yield regular wood.
How To Chop Down Frostpine Trees
You’ll need an epic rarity forest axe to chop down Frostpine trees. To craft one, you’ll needthree copper barsandthree knotroot rods.
If you haven’tunlocked the epic forest axerecipe, it means you’ll also need toupgrade your crafting benchbefore you’ll be able to get any Frostpine trees.
You’ll need the epic level bench upgrade, which will require15 copper bars, 25 obsidian slabs, and one brute scale. You will need two brightcore to smelt one copper bar, somake sure you have at least 30 brightcore.
Once you’ve craftedthe epic rarity forest axeyou’ll be able tochop down the treesand get as much Frostpine as you want. Setting up a village in the area may alsoallow village residents to gather nearby resourcesas well, which can make gathering a little easier.
Copper and obsidiancan both be found in cavesin the Dry Valley biome. A brute scale from one of theGrasslands bruteswill work for the upgrade.
If you need toventure further into the Frostlandsto gather more Frostpine wood, ensure youhave Inner Fire Charms as well as plenty of Spicy Burgersto combat the cold effect. you may pick up ruby and blast core while you’re in the Dry Valley biome.
