They’re in the VIP section of your Pokédex.

WithScarlet and Violet’sIndigo Disk DLC, the opportunity to add a whole new batch of legacy Pokemon to your collection has arisen. That said, however, which Pokemon are they, and how exactly do you get them? We’ll make all that clear for you now. Let’s dust off those pokeballs.

Pokemon Violet Snackworth talking to the player

How To Get Every Old Legendary Pokemon

Added in the Indigo Disk DLC, there are25 returning Legendary Pokemonfor you to capture. They are not just added to the world or random encounters like previous games, however. Instead, they can only be acquired froman individual called Snacksworth.

Snacksworthappears once players complete the story of the Indigo Disk, so you’ll have to complete that first before you may start hunting down these Legendary Pokemon.

Pokemon Violet Rayquaza In-Game

Snacksworth offers players snacks for each Legendary Pokemon before they spawn in the world, which are acquired withevery ten Blueberry Quests you complete, or every Group Quest.

Blueberry Quests are small activities you’re able to do in the Terrarium that give you Blueberry Points, used for purchasing rare items or using and improving Blueberry Academy’s facilities. You can learn all about themin this article.

The Pokemon you can capture is alsodependent on which version you have, with different Legendaries offered between Scarlet and Violet, andsome even exclusive to Blueberry Group Quests. You can see all the Pokemon and their exclusivity in the table below.

Entei

Yes

Version-exclusive Legendaries are unlocked in aspecific order, starting with Kubfu, your version-exclusiveLegendary Trio, and thenMascot Legendaries in order ofGeneration.Group Quest Pokemonaregiven randomlyuntil you have obtained each.

However, though Rayquaza, Kyurem, and Necrozma are exclusive to Group Quests, you can also gain the other version’s exclusive Legendaries bycompleting Group Quests. This makes it possible to gain all 25 returning Legendaries in your own game.

It would take approximately130 Blueberry Quests to unlock all Solo Quest Pokemon, and anadditional 360 to unlock the Group Quest Pokemon. As such, it’s best to attempt to do them all in multiplayer to speed up the process.
