The first major update forGuild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscureadds the first part of the Inner Nayos map. Here, you will travel to the otherworldly realm of the Kryptis and attempt to stop them from invading Tyria.
Found throughout the map are seven Mastery Insights that will give you Mastery Points when unlocked. If you want to train the Inner Nayos Mastery track and gain increased benefits while in Nayos, it’s a good idea to seek out these Mastery Insights. Below, we’ll take a look at how to find every Insight in Inner Nayos.
Only the first third of Inner Nayos is currently available, so more Mastery Insights will probably be added to this map in later updates.
Abyssal Edge Insight
The easiest way to get this Insight is to start at thetop of the Southern Extractor. From here, use your Skyscale, Glider, or Griffin tofly to the northeast, where you may find this Insight on theedge of a cliff.
Alternatively, you can reach this area by traveling to thenorth from the Astral Ward Camp Waypoint, thenclimb up the rocks and red branchesuntil you reach the Insight.
Deep Falls Insight
From the Astral Ward Camp Waypoint, headnorth out of the campuntil you reach theWaters of Regret Point of Interest. Head a bit furthernorth to the waterfall, then glide over the edge to the branch where the Mastery Insight is found.
Heitor’s Gate Insight
This Insight islocked behind the progression of the Road to Heitor meta event. You will need to progress the meta until you make it to Heitor’s Gate, at which point you can go inside and find the Mastery Insight at theback of the room.
Lost Altar Insight
From the Astral Ward Camp Waypoint,follow thepath out of the camp to the west, going up the stairs and forward towards theForgotten Path. When you reach thecave entrance, look to the left for thelarge tree trunk. Climb up this using your Skyscale to reach the Insight.
Memory’s Hollow Insight
From the Astral Ward Camp Waypoint,climb up the cliff to the southusing your Skyscale, then continue forward andclimb up the facesto the Mastery Insight.
Mourning’s Shade Insight
Head north to theVista to the left of the Northern Extractor Point of Interest. Here, use the nearbyenergy orbstofly up to the branchwhere the Mastery Insight is located.
Southern Extractor Insight
From the Astral Ward Camp Waypoint,travel north to the Southern Extractor Point of Interest. Here,climb up the cliff to the east, then use a combination of the Skyscale’s wall jump and the floating energy orbs to make it to thetop of the tower. There are some spots near the top where you can land to regain your Skyscale’s stamina.
