Need More Coldis a game onRobloxwhere you become a kid attempting to go to school for a concert. The catch is, you have a fever, causing your temperature to rise. So you must finish various quests to prove to your mom that you’re not sick, and your temperature isn’t too high.
The quests you receive will lay out a clear path to the main ending. Other endings need specific actions, and this guide will lead you through the steps to achieve all the different endings by guiding the specific actions you need to take.
How To Get The Good Ending
To achieve the Good Ending, you mustfollow the main path the game sets for youto achieve the primary goal, which, in this case, is to convince your mom that you’re well enough to attend the concert.
Although reachingthis ending is straightforward by following the main quests, some may be confusing, requiring interaction in specific places that you may not immediately find.
Talk To Mom
As you start, you’ll notice that the initial objective is"Talk To Mom.“This means that you need to make your way to yourmother’s room, located directly in front of your own room.As you interact with her, you will have a conversation that will end with her checking your temperature, leading you to the next objective.
After completing any objective, you will receive the “Talk To Mom” objective. This meansyou should regularly go to your mom’s room and have her check your temperatureto ensure that you’re not sick to progress to the next objective until the end.
Open Windows
After finishing the conversation with your mom, the next objective, your initial attempt to lower the temperature and pretend that you are fine, is to"Open Windows.“You need toopen the window in your room and the other two by the house door.
Turn Off The Lights
Upon returning to your mom, she insists that your temperature is still rising, leading to the next objective:“Turn Off The Lights.“To complete this, turn off seven lights in the house.
Start from the mother’s room, where you’ll find two. Then, head toyour roomfor the next two. The fifth is located inyour path to the living room in the corridor on the left side, and you’ll findone near the fireplace, while the last light is inthe garage.
Turn Off The Heaters
After the mom checks the temperature again and finds it still elevated, your next objective is toturn off the heaters.You’ll find four heaters in the house, and they are easy to locate as each ismarked with a yellow rectangular shape.
Therefore, you must turn each one of them off in yourmother’s room, your room, the living room, and the garage. Also, you will notice that as you turn off each one, the color changes to white.
Turn On The Fans
What’s next? Unfortunately, after talking to your mom and checking your temperature, she still insists that you have a fever. The next idea the kid has is toturn on the fans. You might have noticed there were fans in the house.
As your next move,you must turn on four fans, each locatedin the following places:
Put Out The Fire
Since your mom thinks you still have a fever, stick to the same plan for the next step; try to make the house cooler. Your new objective is totake out the fire in the fireplace. Head to the living room fireplace,pick up the bucketnext to it,fill it with waterfrom the kitchen sink, and then go back to the fireplace.Use the water to put out the fire.
Take A Shower
Your next objective is to"Undress and take a cold shower.“First,go to your room’s closet to undress. After that,head to the bathroom; the door is located next to the fan in your room.Fill the bathtub with water, jump inside, wait for a bit, and once you’re done, go back to Mom to recheck your temperature.
Eat Breakfast
Even as the temperature cools down, your mom is still convinced that you have a fever. The next objective is toeat breakfast.The breakfast that can make you colder isthe ice cream on the living room table. Moreover, there’s acup in the kitchen that you need to fillwith water and drink.
Place Ice In The Ventilation
To make the house colder, the next objective is to"Place Ice In The Ventilation.“Head straight to the kitchen, where you’ll findthe ice tray. Fill it with water, put it in the fridge, and wait a bit to take it. The objective then shifts toplacing the ice tray in the vent.
Now, you have two options for placing the ice in the vent. you may choose either thevent behind the houseor the one inside your mother’s room. Feel free to use whichever location you prefer to put the ice.
Explode The Rock Heater
Despite our efforts to convince the mother, it seems we need to try something more extreme. The next objective is toexplode the rock heater in the backyard.Simply go directly behind the house, where you will find dynamite. As you interact with it, you’ll be surprised to find it asking what you want.
The kid becomes confused about how dynamite can talk and stays silent for a while until he tells the dynamite to burn.
Fill The Pool With Liquid Nitrogen
It appears the dynamite wasn’t enough, but fortunately, the next objective can help us lower the temperature even further:“Fill The Pool With Liquid Nitrogen.“Pick it up from the garage, and thentake it to the pool.When you reach the pool, remember to stand on the side where you can interact and fill the pool.
Get A Giant Fan
To proceed, let’s continue with the next objective, which involvesfinding something helpful in the shop outside.As you exit through the front door, you’ll notice a shop with the name"Giant Fans To Still Chilly.” Talk to the sales guy, and he will deliver a giant fan and put it beside your house, making the place colder.
Pray
After talking to Mom and finding out she’s still not convinced, the next objective is"Pray to The All Mighty.“Simply go outside in front of the house, and then you’ll see an option to pray.Make sure to stand in the right place to trigger the “pray” interaction.
This will lead to a conversation that ends with making the world colder, and you will notice there is snow now.
Put A Blanket Over The Sun
There’s one last objective:“Put A Blanket Over The Sun.“It’s quite simple.Head outside to the same place where you prayed.You will see the option"Throw Blanket.“Click multiple times, and you’ll throw a blanket over the sun.
The mother is finally convinced. Now, to go to school, justhead outside the house and interact with the bus.Did you do it? Maybe not. Unfortunately, as you get on the bus, the world will freeze, concluding with a “Good Ending… (maybe?).”
The bad ending follows a similar process to the good one, with the same set of objectives. However,the key difference lies in the last decision. After talking to your mother for the last time and obtaining access to go to the concert,instead of heading to the bus, engage in another conversation with your mom.
This time, you will express your desire to stay at home with her. The confusion arises when you realize that the person you thought was your mom is, in fact, your dad, who wants you to watch football with him.
Is this confusing? Well, not much considering we’ve already thrown a blanket on the sun, so surprises are part of the game. Unfortunately, instead of meeting Ariana Grandy, you end up freezing with the world at the end. Is there anything worse than this?
How To Get The Dark Ending
To achieve the dark ending, you need to know what to do at a specific time, and that moment comes after the objective"Fill The Pool With Liquid Nitrogen.“Instead of talking to the mom after filling the pool,return to the garage where you found the liquid nitrogen. There, you will discover a new option to pick up, which turns out to be a rope.
Upon picking up the rope,the objective shifts from talking to mom to “???”.
This is when you must go to the mother’s room. As youget closer to her, you’ll find the option to tie her up. After doing that,carry her to the pool. There, you’ll have the option to interact, and from there, you’ll get two choices. To achieve the dark ending,choose to “throw”, which will conclude with the dark ending cutscene, leaving you in jail.
How To Get The Unexpected Dark Ending
In the Dark Ending, you might wonder what happens if you choose the “Save” option. If you follow the same process as the Dark Ending but, when given the choice,opt for “Save,“you’ll backtrack on your decision and avoid throwing your mother in the pool.
This choice leads to the final cutscene in this ending, whereyou realize it’s your father.However, he surprises you by pushing you into the pool. It’s an unexpected turn, but at least the world doesn’t freeze.
How To Get The Insane Ending
The Insane Ending is the easiest one; you don’t need to make much progress. Just complete the initial objectives until you reach the objective of"Take Out The Fire In The Fireplace.“Instead of completing the objective, simply stay in the mother’s room andget near to the mom.
Don’t take any further action, and the screen will turn to a red color, with the kid’s face changing to a face with just one eye.
From here, you will receive new objectives, toget the liquid nitrogenfrom the garage andattack the mom. As you attack her, a new objective will instruct you todrown mom in the shower. Take her to the bathroom and drown her in the bathtub. Completing this will result in you ending up in jail once again.
