The central focus of the first DLC forFae Farm, the Coasts of Croakia, is all about Critters. Not only are you now able to use your handy new Critter Conch to speak five different Critter languages, you can make friends with Critters and have them follow you around Azoria.

In the Coasts of Croakia DLC, there are a total of 16 new Critters to find around Archi-Pal-Igo Park – four new species of Critters with four variants each. Some of them are much rarer than others, though, and which Critters you find depends on the time of day you visit.

The Critters in Archi-Pal-Igo Park seldom look like anything you’ve seen back in Azoria, withcrawling grubs, ghastly octopi, colored mushrooms, and fluttery seedlings.

In yourAlmanac, on the Critters & Creatures page, you can find silhouettes of every new Critter at thebottom of the Critter page.

It’s important to note thattalking to a Critter with your Conch does not count as registering itin the Almanac.

To have a Critter show up there, you’ll need tocatch it. Critters you’ve befriended but not caught display their name and info, but their photo will be grayed out in the Alamnac.

As usual, though, rarer Critters are sparkly when you see them out and about, so keep your eyes peeled.

And when you get back to Azoria after a long day at Archi-Pal-Igo Park, you may process the DLC Critters as normal at the threeCritter Conservatories.

They don’t drop any new items, but they do drop a good number of regularpotion ingredientswhen processed, making them great catches for all your Magic skill-building needs.

You can anticipate which Critters will be processed at each Conservatory before you catch them, though, to help plan out your crafting.

Like the Almanac, they’re featuredat the bottom of the list, noted as “Undiscovered Critter.”
