Traveling inLego Fortnitecan be difficult and tedious without movement items. We had the glider first, then the grappler, and now we have a launch pad. With the launch pad you can launch yourself into the air from anywhere, and then open your glider and glide down to where you need to go.

How To Get The Launch Pad
The build recipe for it isn’t automatically added to your build menu. You need topick up a copper bar. That’s it! Grab any copper bar from a chest or the smelter, andthe recipe will become available.
Now, open your build menu to the toy section, andthe launch pad recipe will be at the bottom.

When you have the materials you need,select the launch pad from the build menu, then place it on the ground. Now you’re ready to go!
How To Use The Launch Pad
Using the launch pad is as simple asplacing it on the groundandjumpingon it tolaunch yourself into the air, but what if you made yourself a path of launch pads from one base to the next?
To do this,ping one base, then walk to the next base. Make sure youbring enough materialswith you for the launch pads.
From the second base,begin placing launch padsheading back towards the first base. Place a launch pad, jump on it, glide down, then place the second one.
Continue this processtill you’re back at the first base. You now have an easier way of traveling from one base to the next!
As mentioned, making a bunch of launch pads will take a lot of materials. There is, however,currently a glitch where you’re able to break the launch padwith a strong pickaxe, collect the materials, and thenjump on the launch pad before it disappears.
