With the new Team of the Year released,EA Sports FC 24players have new stars to chase to supplement and improve their Ultimate Team. But the game has also added a few other stars that earned the title of “Honorable Mention” for the Team of the Year, available through specific challenges. One of those Honorable Mention players is Dante, a center back for French club Nice.
Earning that card for your squad requires you to utilize the Draft game mode. This guide will walk through all the steps you need to take to get this 89-overall center back who can shore up your defensive line.
What Dante Brings To An Ultimate Team
Dante made his name in the mid-2010s as a star defender for European and German powerhouse Bayern Munich, but it’s his recent work with Nice that earned him this card.
His calling card, of course, is his Defending, with a91 rating in Defensive Awareness and 90 rating in Interceptions. He also displays elite physical abilities, includinga 97 rating in Strength, 88 in Aggression, and 86 in Jumping.
Dante also has five PlayStyles, primarily in the defending areas. Hisprimary Style is the Block PlayStyle+, meaning he has top-tier reach when performing blocks on shots and elite ability to make successful blocks.
Explaining The Ultimate Team Draft Mode
Playing theSingle Player Draft or Online Draftis theonly wayto earn this Dante card.
Both of these game modes allow you topick a formation and draft a team of current and past stars, utilizing primarily Special cards like Team of the Week and Winter Wildcards, as well as Icons.
As mentioned above, there are two Draft modes: Single Player and Online. In Single Player, you play four progressively more difficult CPU-controlled real-life teams for a final reward.
In Online, you play four games against other users for a reward. You mustwin all four gamesto get the final reward.
To enter the Draft, you must spend either30,000 UT Coinsor300 FC Points. Alternatively,you may use a Draft Tokenif you have purchased or earned one prior.
Then, you draft your team. Choose a formation. Once you pick a Captain, you then pick a Player for each Starting XI position, all seven Bench spots, all five Reserve Spots, and a Manager.
Once you pick a Formation in Draft Mode,you are required to use that Formationthroughout the session. You cannot change it during a game or in between games.
It’s a good idea to pick Players in your Bench and Reserves area that can be backups.
You could end up with, for example, a 92-overall Center Forward Lionel Messi of Inter Miami from the Radioactive series or the 92-overall Goalkeeper Lev Yashin from the Icons set, or retired Olympique Lyonnais Féminin Left Back Sonia Bompastor from the UEFA Heroes (Women) series.

How To Get The Dante Card For Your Ultimate Team
However, the TOTY Honorable Mention Dante is not the final reward of an Online or Single Player Draft session. First, you mustplay six Draft mode games.
It doesn’t matter if it’s Single Player or Online; you must play six games. Youdon’t need to win all six games; youjust need to play six.
Once you have played six, go to theObjectives menuand to theLive tab. Scroll down toTOTY Draft Play. You will see green checkmarks in the circles beside Play 1, Play 1 Draft, etc.
Whenthe Play 6 Draft objective is checked off, you will see the Objective Reward is theSpecial Item Dante. All you need to do isaccept the award,and you will have earned the Dante card. He is now ready to be used for your Ultimate Team.
