When you first arrive in the world ofPaleo Pines, and you’re settling down at your new farm with your Parasaur, Lucky, there’s one main goal on both of your minds: finding other Parasaur for Lucky, who seem to have completely disappeared. Besides striking out on your own, it’s one of the main reasons both of you moved.

As you befriend dinosaurs, meeting the residents of Paleo Pines, and make your farm your own, discovering where the Parasaur have gone will be your main goal. It’ll take exploring far and wide, solving problems, and uncovering the past, but we’ll help you on your quest to reunite Lucky with other Parasaur.

How To Find Out Information About Parasaurs

Some quest stepsin The Parasaurolophus Puzzle can bestarted and completed in a different orderdepending on what you’ve discovered.

The first step in finding other Parasaurs isspeaking to Owynn, one of the two resident Dinosaur researchers besides Mari, and most often he can befound at his homein thenortheastern partof the Valley.

Speak to him, and he’lldirect you to Granny Agamias she’s the oldest resident and might have some information. He’ll also give you asingle Mangofor Lucky as a treat.

How To Meet Granny Agami In Dapplewood

Speak to Granny Agamiat Pebble Plaza (or Mari’s house if it’s the evening), and she’ll tell you she might have someknowledge about the Parasaursat her home, butwith the path to Dapplewood blocked, she needs some help.

You’ll need to find aDinosaur with the Smasher skilltobreak the rocksblocking Dapplewood, such as aStyracosaurus.

Styracosaurus can be found in thefield outside your farm, and you’ll need aJuicy Poppinin order to tame them. You can get access to Juicy Poppins, and other flavors, byfeeding a Styracosaurus a Crunchy Poppinand getting its negative reaction.

You’ll then get the idea togo to Pippin and ask her to make new flavors for you. Once you’ve gotten a Juicy Poppin, and ajuicy-flavored food like Pears or Cranberries, you may befriend a Styracosaurus.

After a few days, your Styracosaurus will trust you enough tobecome a Helper, and then you canbreak down the rockson the path to Dapplewood.

Head into Dapplewood andmeet Granny Agami at her homein the center of Dapplewood, and she’ll tell you she might have some information, butit’ll take a little while to findoutthanks to her dinosaurs causing some mayhem while she was away.

How To Follow The Parasaur Tracks

After progressing through the quest line enough toclear the entrance to Dapplewood Forestand speak toAgamiabout Parasaursat her home in Dapplewood, you’ll end up coming across aset of tracksoutside the entrance to Pebble Plaza,near the Psittacosaurus.

Dinosaur tracks can sometimesstart in different locations, but they will alwayslead to the same spot.

Interactwith the tracks, thenfollow them across the bridge. There will be anotherfootstep on the roadyou’ll need to interact with. Near the signat the crossroadsat the edge of the field where the Styracosaurus are, asingle Corythosaurus will wander around.

This dinosaurisn’t befriendable, and using theYoohoo callwill not workon it.

You’ll need to face it as usualwith your flute out, anduse the Corythosauruscall: Large Red, Large Blue, small yellow, small blue, and Large Purple.

The call willcause the Corythosaurus to calm downand allow you tointeract with it, which will update the quest. It turns out that you may need somehelp with tracking.

How To Learn Tracking From Mari

Head over to Mari andspeak with her. You’ll explain the situation to her, and Mari will offer toteach you how to trackin return for solving her snack craving bygiving her three Turnips.

Unless youhave Ariacotta Canyon openor are in theCretumnus season, Turnips can be difficult to find. If you may go toArcheo Pelagoin Ariacotta, the seed merchantLillisometimessells Turnip seedsas part of herrotating stock of seeds.

If youhaven’t unlocked Ariacotta Canyon, you haveanother optionto obtain Turnip seedsvia a quest, Mystery Seeds, given to you by Marlo at his home if you’ve done enough of his quests.

This quest willreward you with several Turnip seeds, and you’ll get enough Turnips for Mari after growing them.

Once you’ve got the Turnips,bring them to Mari, andshe’ll teach you how to track dinosaurs and ask you to try out your new skill bytracking a Corythosaurus.

This will alsofully unlock the ability to track down dinosaurs you’ve releasedfrom your farm.

How To Track A Corythosaurus

To test your tracking, Mari will give you the task oftracking a Corythosaurus.

Like before, you’ll need tofind and follow a set of dinosaur tracks. Start outside the entrance to your farm, and yourfirst dinosaur trackwill be near the Styracosaurus in thefield to the right.

Interact with the track, then continue following themnorth towards Owynn’s homeuntil youreach the stone wallthat surrounds the outskirts of it.

An orange and navy blueCorythosauruslike the one from the prior quest will bestanding in the pampas grasswith an exclamation point above its head. Approach it andinteract with it, and you’ll update the quest.

Speak to Mariand inform her of your success, and she’llreward youwithsix Turnip seeds.

How To Find A Mango For Lucky

After you track the Corythosaurus, you’ll need tohead back to your farmfor the next step.

Interact with Lucky, and you’ll discover that this business of being unable to meet any fellow Parasaur hasher feeling upset. You wonder if Owynn might have a solution, so head back out andspeak to Owynn.

Owynn will suggestbringing Lucky a favorite food, such as amango, and you’ll figure it’s the best solution for now.

Depending on your progress, this quest step can becompleted in one of two ways:

If You Haven’t Unlocked Ariacotta Canyon

If the path to Ariacotta Canyon isn’t open, Owynn willdirect you to Orani, saying that shemight have an extra mangoon hand thanks to her frequent travels.

Oranishows up to Pebbla Plaza onTuesdays and Thursdays, so you may need to wait for her to appear.Speak with Orani, and she’ll agree toswap six Raspberriesfor a Mango.

Raspberriescan be found on severalbushes in Veridian Valleyduring the season ofJurassos, such as on top of thehill south of Owynn’s home, and twoon the path to Owynn’s home.

Get the Raspberries, thentake them back to Orani, and she’ll hand over a standard quality Mango.

If You Have Unlocked Ariacotta Canyon

If you’ve already opened the path to Ariacotta Canyon, Owynn will insteaddirect you to Ariacotta Canyonitself.

Mangoes canfrequently be purchasedfrom the resident fruit seller of Archeo Pelago,Nessa, and her stall isopen on Mondays.

They also regularly grow anddrop from mango treesduring the season ofJurassos, and several can be found throughout Ariacotta, such as:

Once you’ve gotany standard quality mango, bring it back andfeed it to Lucky. The fruit will cheer her up, and she’ll bewilling to go back outfor adventures once again.

How To Follow The Parasaur Tracks In Dapplewood

Acouple of in-game days afterhelping Lucky’s mood, you’ll be able to findanother set of dark brown tracks, this time inDapplewood Forest.

Head to Dapplewood,cross the small stone bridgenear Granny Agami and follow the path down to the Stegosaurus.

Thefirst dinosaur trackis at theopening to the northwestern paththat’s blocked off by breakable logs.

Interact with it, then continue northwest, and thesecond dinosaur trackwill be in the middle of thepath as it opens up into a clearingwith Therizinosaurus.

Keep going into the clearing andacross to the path going down, and thethird dinosaur trackwill beat the top of that path, near the large tree.

Follow the pathdownward, grab thefourth dinosaur track in the mudsection of the path, then wrap around to the left and goup the hill onto the ridge. Instead of a dinosaur, you’llfind another wood sculpture, this time of a Parasaur.

Now you’ll need tohead over to Pebble Plazafor a bit of detective work, andspeak to Marlo. He’ll mention seeing the sculpture, but unfortunately hehasn’t seen any Parasaurs.

How To Plant A Mango Seed

One of the next quest steps available is trying toattract the Parasaurs to your farmwith mangoes.

Several in-game daysafter cheering Lucky up andfinding the Parasaur statueout in Dapplewood,Granny Agamiwill have a quest available for you if she’strading in Pebble Plaza.

Speak to her, and she’ll tell youshe’s got an ideaafter speaking to Owynn: since Lucky’s such a big fan of mangoes, having amango tree on your farmmight attract other Parasaur to you. Agami says she canget you a mango seedin return forfive tomatoes.

There are afew waysto get tomatoes:Corlan sells them on occasion, and if you’veunlocked Ariacotta Canyonalready,Nessamay have them in stockon Mondays.

They can also begrown on your farmfrom tomato seeds, which can bepurchased from Agami during Cretumnus, orpurchased from Lilliin Ariacotta Canyon atany time of year.

Once you’ve got the tomatoes,bring them to Agami, and she’ll hand over a mango seed. Head back to your farm andplant it anywhere you liketo complete this step.

Fruit trees can be planted at any time, but theydo not begin to grow or drop fruituntil theirpreferred season.

How To Follow The Parasaur Tracks In Ariacotta Canyon

Once themango tree’s been planted, another quest step on the path to finding other Parasaurolophus opens up after aday or two has passedin-game, and you’ll need tohave unlocked Ariacotta Canyonfor it.

Make your way toAriacotta Canyon, and while you’re exploring, you’ll begin to findwide, pale-colored dinosaur tracks.

These can appear startingnear the stone bridge, or they can appearnear the northern entrance to Ariacotta Dunes, but either set of tracks you get will lead you to the same destination.

Like before,follow and interact with each trackuntil you reach thenorthernmost clearingin west Ariacotta. This time you’llfind an Euoplocephalusinstead of a Corythosaurus, and it has theUltra Rare Sunray coloration.

Interact with the Euoplocephalusto confirm that it is indeed not a Parasaur, and from there, you’refree to leave it there or to tame itif you want the dinosaur for its skill or Ultra Rare color.

How To Find All The Ancient Tablets

This quest step begins when youfind your first Ancient Tablet, the easiest of which to find is theBlue Ancient Tablet, locatedbehind Zara’s house.

CompletingZara’s quest An Inspiring Sightprior to this step gives youadditional information and context, but itisn’t requiredto complete The Parasaurolophus Puzzle.

Use your journalto interact with the Blue Ancient Tablet, thenshare the discoverywith Zarato prompt a discussion on the tablet and thewords inscribed on it.

She’ll suggestfinding the other tablets, in hopes that they may help with locating the Parasaur.

There arethree other tabletsfor you to find: the Yellow Tablet, the Purple Tablet, and the Red Tablet.Both the Yellow and Purple Tablets can be found intact hidden in spots, while the Red Tablet has to be pieced together from Ancient Tablet Fragments. These fragments can be foundscattered across all three regions.

After you’vefound all fourtablets, take themback to Zaraandshare each individual discoverywith her. Both of you willpiece the inscriptions togetherand come up with a plan to try and attract the Parasaurs to Ariacotta Valley.

How To Attract The Parasaurs To Ariacotta Valley

You and Zara’s plan form theMusic of the Night quest, and while it is considered a separate quest, you’llneed to complete itfor The Parasaurolophus Puzzle.

First, bring theRed Flute Bearer Tabletto theentrance to Ariacotta Canyonon the Ariacotta side, and you’ll get a prompt toplace it down near a set of rocks.

Next, you’ll need toget Lucky, andbring her to the Red Bearer Tabletat Ariacotta andplay your flutewhile she’s with youat midnight. You’re free toplay any tuneyou want as long as itincludes all four note colors.

After several attempts, you and Lucky find thatno Parasaurs have respondedto your flute playing, and leave Ariacotta Canyon toreturn home.

How To Find Lucky

During the night, you’ll get acutscene involving Lucky, and wake up the next morning to find she’sdisappeared off your farm, and you’ve got to find her.

Leave your farmand head northeast to thedirt path heading towards Ariacotta Canyon, and you’llfind a dinosaur trackon the path. Like before,interact with it, andyou’ll recognize it as one ofLucky’s tracks specifically.

Continue to interact with Lucky’s tracks andfollow them into Ariacotta Canyon. The tracks will start leading youwest across the stone bridge, then up along thenorthernmost pathtowards Ariacotta Dunes.

Once youreach Ariacotta Dunes, you’llget a cutscene.

Not only will you get toreunite with Lucky, but there in the distance, after all your effort and Lucky’s support, are theParasaurs both of you have been searching for.

The credits roll, and once they’re over, you’re free to not onlyreturn to your adventures, but startbefriending the Parasaurwho’ve come to Paleo Pines.
