InFortnite, you might feel like doing some explosive damage that the regular weapons in Battle Royale might not be able to satisfy. To this end, Epic Games re-introduced the Anvil Rocket Launcher that allows you to deal devastating explosions to anyone within the viewfinder.

While it’s not easy to find on the map, those who put up a persistent search will find a decent launcher of quality. It can be used as an anti-vehicle or anti-personnel explosive due to its two firing modes, making the Anvil Launcher is one of the best weapons against enemy vehicles.

Where To Find The Anvil Launcher

You’ll be able tofind the Anvil Rocket Launcheras an item that can bedropped from chests. If you’re looking for a random spawn, you’ll need to head to points of interest and Landmarks, where there is a much higher chance of chests spawning. Since it doesn’t spawn as floor loot,it’s much harder to findthan other items.

You can alsopurchase an Anvil Rocket Launcher from Mecha Team Shadow, who can be found wandering aroundthe train station north of Pleasant Piazza. Theysell the Anvil Rocket Launcher for 250 Gold Bars, so ensure that you have enough before you go to purchase.

How To Use The Anvil Rocket Launcher

TheAnvil Rocket Launcher is betterthan other launchers in Fortnite in terms ofdistance and effectiveness against vehicles. While aiming with the weapon, simplypress the ‘Fire’ button to place a point on the groundon which the rocket will land. This can be done whether you’re aiming down the sights or hip-firing.

When looking through the viewfinder,vehicles will change color and have a pulsego through them.Aim at the vehicle with the Anvil Rocket Launcherto lock on to it and then fire a rocket to have it follow.The Anvil Rocket Launcher only locks onto vehicles.

While you won’t be able to target it,buildings can be quickly demolishedwith a strategic missile.

It’s not all positive though, as it’s not a great weapon at close range, sincethe rocket will go high into the sky before coming back downevery time.Ammo for the Anvil Rocket Launcher isn’t common, so try to make each shot count.
